It's not hard to alter a quote of course.

That's not the issue.
The issue is, why should guys that were loyal to the program and renewed not get an extension and guys who might or might not get one. Jan and Feb 2012 guys will have to renew before Mar 2011 guys. That is all.

Exactly man.....I just want an explanation for why we are getting the shaft......Maybe SBR will reconsider

I mean the whole Pro thing is cool but it always rubs people the wrong way when they feel like they are getting slighted, no matter the situation........there is a very simple solution here so hopefully they do the right thing

This will prove to be the worst decision made to date on this site. As in life there is always a fork in the road and I think it's worth the small risk to keep the biggest customer base happy but what do I know.

Time will tell and most likely a new spin off of this business model can pop up at any moment. Someone will be left with egg on their face, but I assume the brass has already bled as much as they fell comfortable with. Even JJ's antics won't be able to prop the house of cards.

Because it worked out that way. You can't keep all the people happy all the time.

And my renewal date was Jan 3rd before you assume it doesn't affect me.

Stop the whinging for fusks sake people. There will be plenty of good options available by the time any of us have the renew next time.

yeah i think being able to use points to buy stuff will be over soon. sbr will be losing the ad revenue and sportsbook sign up and the like to make it not worth it.

I dunno. Could be a technical reason they can't automate it unless it just goes to the end of the year, or something else not obvious.

As far as Jan & Feb guys go, we will give every poster worldwide that renews in either Jan or Feb an extra 100 SBR points and 100 SBR casino points in addition to whatever else is offered for renewal(if any) at the time. This will not be automated so be sure to remind us.

I have noticed that when you get a PM, you can't see who it is from unless you open it.

I'd much rather see who the sender is before I open it up.

Minor issue, I'm sure a quick fix would be no problem.

We didn't want to run trivia until the upgrade/tweaks got applied. You'll have an extra trivia next week.

Is there anything SBR pro members can do before the cut off date to extend our
PRO status further.
Like deposit more money into a sponsored sportsbook.
If its $200 to become PRO say every 200 or whatever you deposit will extend it by a year.
So deposit $1000 get 5 years or something added on.
I know you run off advertising and referrals. this would help both SBR and the members.

My renewal would have been in JUly, but not too worried anyway since I deposit cash into sportsbooks all of the time.

i am not even sure why people are bitching about the jan/Feb thing. You guys still gamble dont you? There is not telling what all options will be available at that time. I mean the site has to generate some revenue some how. If they do give you guys an extra year, then you guys are getting more time than anyone else. I would only get 18 months till my next renewal and you guys would get 24 months.

I mean they had to set the cutoff somewhere and to be honest, the first of the year seems like the ONLY logical way to make the cutoff. DOnt fret guys, there will be options to send money to sportsbooks by that time.

I have a question though that someone asked me. How can someone that is NOT A PRO right now, become a pro within the next 30 days?

We wouldn't get more time than you, unreal.....Everyone would get a year extra from their renewal date.......Think about what you just said

So now someone that turned pro on December 31, 2011 doesn't have to renew until December 31, 2013.......Someone that became pro a day later on January 1, 2012 only gets till January 1, 2013.........A whole year later
