A dozen options is a lot, right? There's no way you can get a lot of charities because it's so hard to even get a response from them, even when you're trying to give them cash. That was the problem John mentioned about adding specific charities before... some wouldn't reply either way. I'm really excited to see what these other ones are.

My renew date is Dec 5th 2012 , so it will extend to Dec 5th 2013 correct?

ummm so what does this mean for US players in terms of betting sports online?

has something happened that makes it seem as though all books will be pulling out of the US market or is this not related to US players gambling online?

basically has anything happened today that we didnt already know about online sportsbooks in terms of US customers...

~~Right.~~ Actually I see you went pro last month so nothing changes for you. If your Pro renewal was up Dec 2012 you would have had the extra year.

It's still Aug 30 but it's saying you are eligible to renew a month before. We'll add another line for the actual exp date.

To be clearer, we will add a line after the renewal date which explains that the expiration is one month after the renewal date.

Bill: Actually the renewal date is a month in advance of his PRO date. So if you were up in Dec you would have gotten all the way to Dec 2013 but if you were up in Jan 1st to Feb 28 2013 that remains the same.

I am confused why USA players cannot go PRO anymore?Not complaining just want to understand why a forum is restricting USA players. We do not wager money here.Just confused. Thanks for any info.

That is not what the post says. Just that you can't go pro by using sportsbook sponsor after March 6th. Those already pro are grandfathered for 1+ years and there will be many other ways to go pro.

And for those that don't wager, the new rules will probably be better for you, more ways to go pro.

Also, lets say things remain the same, it wouldn't be worth it to donate $200 to be pro. I'll pass the feel good moment of the donation just to break even on a gift card. Most likely the gift cards will go up 1000 points anyway.

It will be interesting to see the price raise, SBR is gonna need some more tricks. Wont be long before EOG starts offering points and steals all the US market back

My pro membership anniversary was 2-22-12.

Its all good, though. John, you guys have a great site. The work and effort that you all put in here to make this board go is not unappreciated. The fact that you are bending over backwards with the one year free membership for these guys is extremely generous. I respect the idea that you are being proactive in not letting anything traumatic happen to this board on the US side. I hope you can eventually work out all the hoops you're having to jump through, but until then, the SBR family will just have to keep on trucking. God bless you guys!

For those members who became Pro or renewed their membership between January 1. 2012 and February 28, 2012, your membership will not be affected. It will be up for renewal on your anniversary date in 2013.
