#112No. All they do is tell Verisign (the core registry for .com names) "you know how that domain ______.com points to that server over there? Make it point to this server over here instead." That's it.Originally posted by LordVodkaWhen the gov seizes these domains do they also get access to all of the customer base and such?Comment -

#121i agree 100% this is BS! All they are doing this for is CASH they want a piece of the pie! If they cant tax it they take it over or shut it down! Free people my ass!Originally posted by LordVodkaOk good. Fukk our government. It's a joke that this is the kinda thing they're wasting money on. #122What difference would that have made? This indictment is for crimes that started in 2006.Originally posted by LVHerbieBecky must have forgot to pass on to DOJ the office memo that Bodog and Bovada aren't the same company and that Bodog doesn't allow US players to play there anymore...

#123Bodog - is this the start of the beginning !
Is this the beginning of the end for free speech on the internet.
What's the saying - "first they came for the bookies and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a bookie !"
US Govt seizes & shuts down Bodog's legal web-site without any consultation or legal writ served outside USA against the global company.
So what right does the US Govt have seizing a legal global company's trading web-site & stops the legal 3rd party company from trading with its legal customers daily !
As I say, this is a serious development for lovers of the internet - if US Govt gets away with this - they can ban & shut down anything from anyone - anywhere in the world.
Don't believe me that the US Govt has shut down bodog - go to www.bodog.com
1st it's the bookies - then it can be anyone they don't like - by issuing crap writs in an American court - allows them to justify internet censorship on any web-site, or anyone anywhere in the world.
Someone needs to take a stand on this !Comment -
