I won't disagree with you even though u came off as being a Dick about it but just to answer your question with the two legit scripts we.have from our doctors I only spend another $500 extra a month on the pills. I know this is still a lot but I'm not trying to dance around the truth. And like the other guy said, I'm not 22 with a minimum wage job. My problem is just as big as a 22 year old betting $20 a game making $1000 a month. My income is just higher so is my habits.
That being said I understand this is a problem and I will change this. It just won't happen over night. The feedback from everyone is much appreciated.

Actually that is the next step. My wife will be full time in a couple months and at that point she can take fmla, paid leave and we are both going to quit at this time.

According to him you have to put up with politics and verbal abuse but for that type of coin I'd bite the bullet. He doesn't gamble at other casinos much. "Too much like going to work" he said.

Thank you for kind words sir. Addiction us very powerful. It messes with your mind too and makes you think you can't live without whatever you are addicted to. I will get past this and be a better person when it's all said and done. Again thank you for your comment.

This is very true about the income. When the economy was better about 9 years ago dealers at the casino I work at now would make $500 a day on the bad days. My wife use to make $400 a night on average at a different casino 4-5 years ago. It really is a great job, but trust me it is very stressful even though you wouldn't think it. You have more bills because you end up spending more money. Then coming to work you feel pressure to pay players so you make good tips. Sometimes it happens and sometimes you kill everyone. All in all I don't know anything else I would rather be doing.

Lost 300 points yesterday. Even if I took Indiana I would have lost in that parlay stash, I had Clippers ML in that parlay.

Okay so I had that bill that was $736 that I paid but only $500 in the bank yesterday. I saw it tried to get paidand my account was negative. Usually when this happens, around noon it gets a nsf and the $465 would get put back in my account and would no longer be negative. So I went back on my carecredit account, online and paid $500 thinking the other would not go through. Well the bank paid the $736 one and just left my account at negative balance. No problem except now the new $500 payment is gonna bounce. Sucks but I guess at least the original payment was paid on time. Its my last day of the work week hopefully I make some cash tonight. Yesterday made $160 my first table and $60 last table but I only ended with $240.

Having been addicted to pills most of my life and having done it legally, I can assure you the end point is no different from those that use illegally. Our bodies don't know the difference.

I've had scripts for Dilaudid, Oxycontin, Norco, Oxycodone, you name it. And for the longest time I justified it with the fact that I had a script. And I legitimately needed it. One day I came to the realization that unless I planned on spending the rest of my life on pills, the sooner I could come off the better I would be. No doc told me this, it's just a realization I came to after speding over 10 years being addicted to pain killers.

If you plan on staying on them, that's not risk free either. You know by now you develop tolerance to Opiates. No way around it unless you want a liver transplant at the age of 45. Even if you truly need them, don't abuse them and have a script, you still develop a tolerance and eventually require more for pain relief and then that little something extra, the reason we abuse them. That euphoric feeling that makes it easier to be social. That makes sex better. That makes life easier to tolerate. You know what I'm talking about. Eventually that 7.5mg of Norco becomes 15mg that becomes sometimes upwards of 100mg/day. And then the snorting and mixing for extra effect. All this shit takes it's toll on your liver, stomach, kidneys, brain, heart, pretty much everything.

And god forbid you rupture an appendix or get in a car wreck. They'd never get your pain under control after surgery. Been there, twice.

Remember when you first started using them? That feeling you'd get? It would only take one pill for 4-5 hours. Now one pill is pissing in the wind. Ahhhh, the good ol' days.

Anyways, I hope your successful in getting clean or cutting back to the point you only use them recreationally. However in my experience, once your addicted, you're best off getting clean and not using at all. I recently had a doc write me for 60 lortabs after I'd been clean for a few months. Went through them 6 days, lol. Ya. Pathetic. And then I went through the withdrawals all over again. Another 7 days worth of feeling hyper anxious, irritable, moody, hurting and the whole 9-yards.

Man am I glad those losing complete control days are over for me, I still vividly remember those days and the depression that followed afterwards but this is how I learned, without strict self discipline losing big is an inevitable eventual circle ..................

Actually I didn't make any deposits for about two weeks from these posts. I haven't had any huge days at work but not bad either. Probably been averaging between 250-350. Couple 500-600 couple 100. I made a small deposit of $100 to betislands right before the tournament started. I was doing alright for a few days, was up to $400,then down to $30, back to $300. Last two days I lost the $300 though. Lost $100 on the Warriors last night. I have got caught up on some bills a little though and am gonna make another $200 deposit by Thursday. The pills are still a must unfortunately. I have spent like $600 on that in the past two weeks. Sucks I wish that was easy to stop. Ill do it one day.
