Okay so I took an early out at work after making $360 in tips after 5 hours. So I brought home like $260 of that after taxes. I had $520 more on me. Went to local casino and ended up losing all of it. $780 poof gone. That's bad but that wasn't it. I took out another $300 from the ATM and lost that too. Done? Not exactly. I ended up stopping at the bank on the way home and taking out another $300 to send to my 5dimes account. And how does my night end? How about lost everything? YUP lost like $1400 today. **** ME! I don't know why keep doing this stupid shit to myself. I really need to stop. Sorry had to vent and it's not like I can vent to anyone outside of here because they will all tell me what I already know, I have a problem. I know this but for some reason I keep doing it. I am a blackjack dealer. That really is just about an avg night for a Friday night. This job has really bad nights and really good nights. Nothing will beat the $7200 I made 3 weeks ago in one night. Problem is that money I lost today was the last of that money I made after paying some people back and some bills. I already need another $1000 now just to pay shit I already paid online Friday night. Still gonna clear in the next 2 days. Way to go huh?

Indian casino here in California. The biggest one actually, Pechanga. We keep our own tips. They keep 30% for taxes and we take home 70% a day.

Oh I am definetly going back to work tonight. I have $475 left in my bank account and I work tonight and tomorrow night pretty much before the stuff clears the bank. Total would be like $1200 I need to pay these. So I would need to bring home like $700. Means I need to make $1000 for Sat night and Sun night. I work tonight, well tomorrow morning at 2am. It is possible. Not likely but possible. More realisticly I will make like $500-$800 before they take the 30% out. Key to this is hopefully this actually kicked me in the nuts enough to make it stop for a while. I doubt it though, honestly I have had MANY MANY worse times than this and I keep doing it once I am able to. I am honestly surprised I didn't go back with the other $475 and try to make what I needed. Guess that is one good thing.

Its a great job. I love it. Been dealing 11 years. If I wasn't married then I would give a shit about this gambling episode honestly. It's the fact that I am bringing my wife/family <step daughrter> down with me. My job is great and yet I have nothing to show for it. I have made over 75K each of the 4 full years I have been at Pechanga and with the $7200 score I had the week after the superbowl and I almost am a shoe in to beat the 75k this year as well. I have ZERO to show for it though. I have a bad pill addiction on top of the gambling problem. The pill problem is actually more expensive then the gambling problem. What a winner I am.

Thanks for the support and the people to talk to. I really need it. I would never go to a GA meeting even though lord knows it would be best for me. Like I said if I wasn't married I would just keep doing what I'm doing though, I really do enjoy it. Even when I lose I can take it if I wasn't married. Been married since 2004. She honestly should have left me a few times. She is WAY hot and I have gained like 50 lbs since we married. I lost 10k one weekend with a local like 4 years ago. Followed it up with another 4 month run of probably 10k in losses when I was already supposed to have quit or we were done. Few years later and after ME threating to get the divorce she said I can do whatver I want as long as I don't do what I did before. Im not to that point but this is still getting to be ridiculous. This forum has just made it worse because I love it. I really enjoy coming onto SBR daily.

I take like 6-8 a day and my wife also takes them and she has it much worse. She takes 10-12 a day. We each have a script for 120/month each but that's not enough. I use to drive to TJ like 4 times a month at $5.25 a pop for a good 2 yrs but now I have two people I buy them from for $3 but even then sometimes they don't have them and have to take the drive down south.
