It is suppose to continue snowing/sleeting/freezing rain here until mid afternoon Monday. And we aren't looking to get temps out of the 30s until maybe Friday. Mr. Nina is down in Birmingham with his dad. Said the power just went out at the hospital. It's still on here at th house.

It is a BIG storm system. I hope you get the thundersnow too.

Yeah, weather map shows it stretched east from Arkansas west all the way to the Carolina coast, and from the gulf north to Kentucky. Massive. Good thing I've got the day off tomorrow.

We have 3 to 5 inches coming tomorrow and i'm not thrilled about it. Life is hard enough as it is, not wanting to add all that slop into the mix

We are supposed to get hammered tonight.Im getting ready to go to the store and buy extra beer and some snacks.I say Fukk it bring that shit on.We got about 4 inches over the weekend and calling for 6-10 inches tonight.

That storm front got up to the NC border and then just stalled. It's been sitting in the same place since I went to bed last night. Freaky shit.

We ended up with about 6 inches of snow and a layer of ice under that. Most businesses will be closed again tomorrow. The high toady was 33 which didn't melt a lot and anything that did melt will just refreeze tonight. We don't get enough snow to be able to handle it.

It's funny how the snow kinda muffles the sound of the thunder.

Went to school in Duluth, Minnesota. Had a "Thunderblizzard" four winters ago. Over two feet of snow and thunder and lightning. Craziest thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, our snow has an ice layer at the bottom and the top. Snow isn't suppose to crunch when you walk on it. That makes it hard to make snow cream.

We didn't get thundersnow but we got snow and then ice on top of it. Did some nice runs with a makeshift sled down the hill.

Well I didn't get any of that (although that would have been cool) but I have a couple from today. Now I know that by you Yankees snow standard this isn't a lot but it is to us down south.
