The biggest blunder I have seen so far is why ellenberger/sanchez is not on a FOX card. That is the kind of matchup you build a FOX card around, not a fuel tv. There really is no "star power" for the random viewer yet they need to show them great fights.

Nobody wants to see a double leg takedown and a guy laying on top of a opponent, praying that the ref doesn't stand you up...

Generic” fighters I remember wvc with frederico lapenenda and sergio barterelli with the cargo nets my first bjj instructor rick lucero fought chuck kim in brazil my sambo coach richard heard fought pedro rizzo in one of those shows too brutal but it cuts down on your career and guys were getting injured left and right be like going back to playing football with leather helmets theres no point. Most of the time people that complain or worse boo is because they dont understand whats going on the ground. As for your point about watching a wrestling match thats weak because wrestling match has no strikes.... I am glad I didn't waste my night watching all of the show last night. I seen where it was going to come on and I thought about watching it, but opted to watch the Rockets Knicks game. I tuned into the main event fight in the last round and a hlaf and felt dumb for watching it. I had seen MMA on tv before, but shesh, I felt like I was watching a boxing match with no big gloves. Fox should of jumped on it 4-5 years ago just right before the MMA mainstream boom. Would of made enough loot from TUF to call it quits by now. Now the sport is really mellowing out. I only watch if their is a good matchup or fighters i like.

The Pride days were truly the golden era. I understand utilizing a smart game plan but it is dissapointing when fighters just try to steal rounds and don't try to inflict any damage. Wish there could be some changes to the judging criteria that would reward damage.
