I know Pags personally and can assure you that you won't find a nicer and more modest guy on these forums. He invited me out to visit him last year to talk and study college football with him. He showed me his town, his business, his friends, etc... He did not have to do any of that and did it for a complete stranger no less.

Now think for a moment just how nice he is or as some of you like to believe just how "egotistical" he is. Not only is he an active member of this forum community, but several other gaming forums. He responds to individual questions, threads, and posts in EVERYONE's thread and his posts are both brief and long, but always sincere. It does not matter if you have been around for years or just a few days, he responds to you and if anyone has a right to ignore others it is Pags. He has posted winners for years and provides insights and analysis on all his games. He provides this without asking anyone for a penny. He lays everything out at the beginning of the year: His betting system, betting strategy, and money management technique. He stresses patience and composure throughout the year. He does not tell anyone to follow his picks, but thousands on here and elsewhere follow. Sadly, most of the guys on here are rooting for him to lose this year.

He puts a lot of effort into this. Keep in mind he runs a successful business, he is a home owner, he is outstanding member of his community, he is a bachelor in his early 30s....yet, he has time to do this and respond to every single question and comment toward him on here.

Not only is Pags a quality poster, but a quality person. Really you people should be ashamed of yourselves.....

And just for the record, I know Pags does not mind at all if someone comes into this threads and says they disagree with this play because of X and Y and Z....in fact, he knows that is natural and that is what spurs conversation throughout the week and challenges both posters and opinions.

However, he (like anyone else) would get irritated when you come in after the fact and say "I told you...." or "you should have...." "that was a bad play...." Nobody deserves any of that and certainly not someone who has been posting winners for years. I'd like to think the moderators are making an extra effort to monitor his threads closely considering the high level of exposure they receive. Mods need to get into action ASAP.

With respect, you're missing the point. Nobody disagreed with his beef and nobody would disagree that he works hard with his picks, kindly shares his picks and is courteous and even handed with his responses.

But what have any of the above got to do with the democracy of a public forum? This forum provides an ignore button precisely for this scenario, and the reason Pags has lost more respect in one week than he has the last five-years is because he seems to think if he whines for long enough he can force SBR management into unilatterally barring a poster from a thread he created because he's paranoid and insecure.

Read my posts in particular, you will see I was courteous, construtive and supportive, whilst trying to point out this is not Pags board.

Regardless of how nice or how kind you perceive Pags to be, this is about peoples fundamental right to post what they want, where they want within the bounds of decency. If Pags doesn't like any negative comments he was provided with an ignore button like everyone else.

Rather than telling people how kind Pags is, maybe you should ask yourself why people who were initially supportive like myself and countless others couldn't care less if Pags stuck his picks up his ass and never posted here again, he isn't mentally equipped to be posting publically.

To be honest, I've been out of town the past week and haven't really been around to see what is going on. I haven't seen many threads lately.

But the fact remains, EVERYONE deserves to have a posting environment without harrassment. This is not just about Pags, but about all of us. Why should Pags tolerate such harassment from other posters? Why should he be ridiculed? Why should he have to put people on ignore? It is about showing courtesy and respect for others. Really, I'd say SBR is very close to losing a key member. The mods need to step it up, and step it up quickly.

Pags is much too nice with his time and energy. We are all lucky to have him here. SBR really does not deserve all this.....
