Vitooch, I agree, it serves no purpose for you to be posting picks anymore, but there's no need to stop posting at SBR all together. What happened to you is just the SBR jinx. It happens to everyone who takes the same approach as you did with creating this type of thread.

That's why many of us have been so hard on you from the beginning. It's because we've seen this movie a 1000 times....and it always ends the same way. But it sounds like you've had your humble pie. 99% of the posters here wouldnt admit it in the mature way that you've have. So props for that. Just dont post your plays and I'm sure the SBR jinx will wear off in no time and you'll start winning again.

Its best that you learn this lesson now when you're betting peanuts as opposed to later on in your life where you might lose the rent money/mortgage payment or empty out your savings account when you have a wife and 3 little tikes to take care of.

Its important to remember that you can go to just about any casino on the Vegas strip and bet $100,000 on any NFL side you want and not only will the books happily take your action, they just might send an airplane to come get you.

Remember when you go on a big winning streak like your 10-2 day, its not really because of your handicapping but simply good fortune. By the same token, when you go 2-13 right after you created this thread, its not bad handicapping and you didn't do anything wrong but simply had bad luck.

You simply have no control over what happens out on the field and no amount of your own personal research can overcome betting into rock solid numbers and having to lay -110 in the process.

There are all sorts of characters who claim they can pick 60% winners, 65% winners and one guy even spouted on about being able to pick 75% winners. Its all B.S.!!!!

There are a few people out there who are able to grind out profits betting on sporting events pre-game and all of them use different techniques:

Billy Walters seems to be able to anticipate line movement and he likes to bet on one side of a game early and then wait for the line to shift and then bet the other side and shoot for middles.

Lem Banker/Right Angle Sports (RAS) likes to concentrate on lesser known schools that are off the radar and do a tremendous amount of research on them.

Heres a good rule of thumb:
If you are betting on a nationally televised game, you can bet that the game has been researched through and through and you're betting into a rock solid number.

I appreciate your concern but I'm going to be fine. For now I am only playing with very small amounts of money just for some action, and I only bet on NFL and MMA (for now haha). I know my limit, but thank you.
