#112I think this game is going to be closer than most people think. People are still talking about how LSU shut down Oregons running attack and they are going to need a repeat performance of that tonight since MSU ranks #1 in offensive production in the SEC so far this year...they can move the ball. If LSU was playing at home then -4 wouldn't be that much of an issue, but on the road, against a team who (although banged up ) is probably motivated after last weeks loss to Auburn, might be too big of a number to cover. I like LSU to win this game outright, but not to cover. LSU ML for me.Comment -

Give us a reason NOT to take the Tigers? And not 'well Thursdays can be superstitious so'
Miss St coach modeled his offensive tempo off the Oregon Ducks....remember 2 weeks ago what LSU did to LaMichael James and company on a fast turf?
LSU is healthy coming in as well as coming off an easy game....State is banged up and broken by the debacle on the plains.
Dan Mullen has never won an SEC West game since he's been in Starkville other than against Ole Miss.
The crowd in Starkville can be loud but they also tend to give up easy and get REALLY quiet. LSU has double the amount they play in front of routinely so it won't be a factor.
Now your turn?Comment -

You dont think State is going to be up for their biggest game of the year in primetime on national tv? Oregon had 27 points, 335 total yards and 95 yards rushing in that entire game. That's usually what they do in the first half. Take away the meaningless garbage time points and yards when the game was long over at the end, and those numbers are even more impressive
If you can't see how awesome LSU's defense is, you have no business talking college football. The only way LSU loses this game is if jarett Lee has a terrible game and the offense simply can't find a way to score any points
I got LSU winning this 28-14. I wouldn't be shocked if it's a close game cause LSU's offense isn't really any good but I don't think it will matter cause they will force turnovers and have excellent field positionComment -

I'd say Bama is the biggest game to them on TV and as far as dislike for one another.
Like I said before, the fans there come out pumped up but fade really quickly if they give up a score. Look for LSU to get at least one defense/special teams TD also that will swing it. Relf's little out passes to Bumphis and Robert Elliot will make the LSU DB's salivate.Comment -

they did shut down Oregon, are u retarded??
holding Oregon to 335 yards and 95 rushing yards is the equivalent of shutting out an average team and holding them to 180 total yardsComment -

#136The issue tonight will be can MSU score more points than LSU? Their defense is really bad. They gave up a ton of points to Auburn who was playing with freshmen OL. LSU will get their 30-40 points tonight. Can Miss St even break 20? I doubt it.Comment -

and when Oregon wasn't handing the ball over, they were getting shut down on nearly every drive. Do u understand how many yards Oregon gets per game??? 335 seems like a normal amount until you realize Oregon usually averages about 500-600 yards a game
and the james injury doesn't really matter cause Oregon's 3rd string running back would probably start on the majority of teams in college anyways. LSU dominated that game at the line of scrimmage and they dominated Oregon's receiversComment -
