It seems like as soon as you buy something technology driven it's looked upon as junk in real short order time where it's laughed at as being an antique.PC towers are looked upon as being boat anchors. So has anyone ever had their bubble burst where they think the hand held gadget they have is still cutting edge and you find out acne faced techno geek sales reps at Best Buy are all laughing at you over having one?

    Sega Dreamcast yeeeaaaars ago.

My pager went out of style pretty quick too. It went from being very cool, to being lame during lunch one day.

Palm Pilot. Egad. It took some time to adjust to it's unusual writing recognition. Even after learning to "write" decently well I still preferred my lo-tech pen & paper daytimer. What a waste of time and money.

Biggest scam was iphone 1. Everyone went and bought one a few years back. Now the same people bought iphone2, iphone3 and now iphone4. Smart people like me will wait until iphone5 comes out and save a ton of money by not buying into the 4 previous versions.

Why wipe your ass? You're just going to eventually shit again and have to waste more TP.

TP costs a quarter per roll..iphone costs a quarter per call. Huge difference.

iPhones(or phones in general) are not expensive to some people, it's all relative.

True. Some people will gladly pay $150 per month for a phone plan but complain if the fast food place charges them 25c for extra pickles on their burger.

125?? Your numbers are flawed. Trying to elevate the overall number to pad your argument is whore shit.

Mini Disc Walkmans. (actually had two sony ones were expensive also) i liked them but the technology didn't last long before MP3 players took over.

I bought the Flip Cam HD right before Iphone with HD video came out. Price on the flip dropped 40% within days and another chunk a month later.

Dreamcast went out of business because you didnt even have to mod the thing to play burned games you could just burn them and pop them in so eventually no one bought games...

One thing I can think of is HD DVD players remember they were competing with bluerays when they first game out..xbox360 had an attachment to play HD movies, well that lasted long
