Has anyone extracted their own wisdom teeth?

Well I will tell you this as someone who both had dental problems and access to the best "pain medication" available in the "City of brotherly Love"
There is a certain skill to taking a hypodermic needle and hitting the correct combination of nerves to numb the actual tooth
this is not like scraping the mirror and rubbing your fingers on your gums
If you miss, yes you will feel numbness for a time but than the burning starts and trust me i know this from experience(No i wasn't ever crazzy/stupid enough to think i could pull one of my own teeth) but when you have an exposed nerve in a tooth and your too messed up to deal with a dentist and you have access to "Novocaine on steroids" you might get it in your head to attempt anything

As much as the practice of dentistry is a scam there are certain things they need to go to school for 4 years to learn
this isn't the three stooges and your tying a string to a door knob
you get an infection and it gets into your blood stream
you are dead
within a day

my cousin had his wisdom teeth extracted last week and now a week later needs surgery on his ear as he says he is deaf in that ear. The doc says it has nothing to do with the surgery.

A new doc says he needs surgery and scheduled him for emergency surgery at 6 am today

I wonder if Cornhead has been suffering with impacted wisdom teeth for 35 years or so ?
