missed the game today was working..but man i just want it to be october so the braves fans go away. same thing happened last year with braves fans talking shit all summer but they'll eventually shut their mouths come late august early september.

I love how fans of pretender teams like the Braves think the Phillies aren't that good. Phils have flaws but they are hands down the best team in the league.

but they beat up on weaker teams

Lol i don't care about domonic brown... if he comes up and proves to be a spark, then that's a bonus.

What's funny is that the same exact thing happened last year. Atlanta got some wins against Philly early on in the season and then once September rolled around, the phils won 5 of 6.

So what are you saying? I should expect a prospect to come in and ignite the offense? I'll care about Brown in a year or two when he's ready for major league ball. And by ready, I mean be a consistent everyday player.

You are 100% correct, I meant to say 2nd in ERA... I was typing from my phone, my bad though. Braves are first in ERA, 2nd in HRs, 2nd in runs, 3rd IN THE NL EAST IN WINNING %.

yea phills got a brutal stretch now coming up... wouldnt mind oswalt coming back strong and hopefully utely too... with brown not far off.. could use all the offense they could get.. 5-8 right now are automatic outs

I agree. I said it before the season and I will still say it. The Phillies won't go anywhere, they can't hit worth shit. If they do make the playoffs which will most likely happen they will get completely shut down by some elite pitchers in the playoffs, simple as that.

Didn't we all have this same convo about about the phills/braves last may?? How'd that work out? That 5-8 hole could soon be rollins, brown , mayberry, ruiz rather then ibanez fransico orr valdez aka the bums that are playing now.. phills are basically playing with half a lineup and still have beat record in the league.. these discussions are pointless bc.we all know who is still left standing come October
