Badnina and I both opened new accounts for this. And don't say it's cuz we're girls or we don't gamble - you said 1 was the over/under for opening a new account just for this: 2 that I know of did.

As far as everything else you've said, it's your right to opine, and, while some of it may be true, this contest was ment to be fun - not to be over-analyzed and have the fun sucked right out of it. So what if no one gets any of the top 10 correct - someone is going to win some money without having to risk a dime.
I for one had a great time looking at players and deciding who I thought would bring the most to each team. But, I love the NFL and having something like this to do at this time of year was fun.

Ritehook, you've made some interesting posts at this forum, and if you recall, I've agree with you a time or two, but in this case, sadly, we are not on the same page.

Everyone copied and pasted my draft, even my tiebreakers were copied and pasted by some. I should be number one for getting this thing started. How long do you think it took for me to do my draft without anynames already in. It took a lot of research to put in nearly forty correctly spelled names. I should get half of any winnings.

and technically you should have 8 pts now. you had Phillip Merling as your last pick in the 1st round and in the first round you get 1 pt for a player going 1 spot higher or lower, well he went number 1 in the second round ,so that is one spot off.

So two of you didn't copy, but that doesn't mean that nearly everyone else did. If you look closely someone even copied my bonus and tiebreaker picks. So you are not bursting my bubble, I can see that some people just copied and pasted my original. Good for you to do something on your own. The later you waited, the better you should have done. I got it started, so others could benefit.

The later round picks, I got from a google search from complete draft lists. I kinda tried to match up what I thought the Dolphins had for team needs, but that didn't help as much as I'd hoped because they need everything. Not to mention they traded out of that spot in every single round anyway. ;(

I have revised my opinion. This was a GREAT contest. With only a few dozen entries, with the prize money, and esp if one was already a bol member, the best contest ever on the Net!

Badnina did open and account, why she didn't enter the contest yesterday, I cannot speak to. What I do with my account henceforth, you cannot speak to, as you have no idea what my future gambling intentions may or may not be. I could have very easily been corrupted these past almost 2 years and am now anticipating a barreled in life of gambling.
Jackpot also opened account, bringing the new account total to 3. His intention with his new account have not been made clear - but I'll ask him to submit them in writing, if you'd like.
As far as your opinion of this contest, it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other. All I was trying to say is that if you don't like it, don't just bash it, but have enough sense of character to say, "hey, nice to have a contest, but perhaps it wouldn've been better if it would have been done this way." and offer your constructive suggestions.

I doubt, anyway, if thinking on it for two months would have gotten too many more posters account openers at bol. I made a few threads on the draft and the replies (and thus the interest) was minimal.

And, unlike the NCAA contest, where no one had to open an account at the sponsoring book, this one required same.

You're certainly to be commended for going to the trouble to try.

I have no concerns. I don't mind anything said so long as its honest and constructive. I'm not particularly sensitive and the more feedback the better. I do follow the draft a bit, my uncle coaches in the league, my cousin is a scout, and i was getting texts from them as the draft went on. Im glad we got 21 to play, perhaps next year we can get more in and make it even better.
