I thought about pounding the grizz, but it could be a ewing theory trap game. It's denver or nothing for me. The books aren't stupid and there's a greater than 51% chance that line is there for a reason. Don't be a sucker. Those book makers have been at it a long time.

it's a thoery that bill simmons came up with after the knicks went to the finals without Ewing basically when a teams best player goes down the team actually improves

Instead of everybody waiting for "superstar" to save the day, and instead of everybody hoping for "Patrick Ewing" to carry the team as they just feed the ball into him, everybody else "tries harder", does their part, runs their motions etc. You take away the best player but get increased value from the sum of the parts as the other guys try and play their A game and the team does better.

So what if the players in Denver don't want to hear about how crappy they are now that they are Carmelo-less. You think the guys in Cleveland are happy to hear about how they are gawd awful without Lebraun? How that one guy carried the team? You could see good effort out of Denver tonight to win despite him.

Unlike Cleveland the Nuggets still have lots of talented players. I don't now where your getting this "there crappy" stuff from. Vegas knows this as well, thats why they are giving points to the Grizz.

The obvious play would be Memphis. Nuggets bench has been responsible for the Nuggets lost at Houston and Memphis, in games they both lead a 15 at some point.

I see a different today despite that. JR will be starting, and I can see this guy stepping up, now he's the man. In the NBA as we all know, all it takes is one guy to get hot for the home to steal a win.
