#2046Clarification...
I wasn't one that complained, but I did PM LGO that I hadn't cashed as I had culled most of the plays and picked the wrong ones... BECAUSE My local will not accept that many bets in a day. In addition, he carries a pretty stiff minimum and I wouldn't bet that minimum across that many games if I could. This is still a recreational venture for me. Have one bad day at those levels and it will ruin a season.
Again, not complaining at all, just giving a simplified reason why at least one of us did not cash on the day. It's not always as easy as it may appear to "package and label".Comment -

#2057its just variance if you cherry pick off his listed plays, you may do better or worse but in the long run you'll do about the same but in the short term anything can happenComment -

#2058Again for clarification
I understand your frustration, but he explained the system from the very git-go that it was not a system that you can pick and choose. You must play them all. He even said that alot of people might have to reduce their unit size and should only be 1% of your bankroll to play his picks. The guy has been upfront about everything from the very first day he opened his thread.
best of luck to everyone.. today and always..."Beat the man..."

#2059Hey Tex- I understand. I am NOT complaining at all. Not one little bit. I fully understand and have understood his method. Have been watching and following (with awe) while he has been tearing up the hoops season. Unfortunately, between my current local out(s) and the combination of their hi minimum wagers and my limited bank roll, it is impossible for me to get down on every play. And while I fully understand THAT IS the system, "I" cannot play it that way. As such, I did not cash yesterday. Not Complaining... Just sayin.. best of luck to everyone.. today and always..."Beat the man..."
Put the picks in a hat. Shake the hat. Pull out the number of plays you are "allowed" to make with your local.
Your %-win should converge to LGO's %-win in the long term.

#2060I suppose I understand but I just put a half unit on each game. Got the games in play for today plus 2 units on Purdue pk, and 1 unit on HAP.IR.KIRYAT SHMONA. Guess it's tougher with a local and higher minimums. . . look offshore if at all feasible.Comment -

#2063My system isn't perfect -- it's still a work in progress. I use a junior sized circa system that's loaded with a 2page/week planner. I then have a series of smaller circa pages printed on different colored paper stock that I use for detailed daily journals. One is a food diary. Another has 4 columns: the time (8:00am - 8:00pm in one hour increments), my schedule/appointments, and a column for "What I actually did". The final column is a small column for checking off how many 'pomodoros' I did for a given task.
When I feel overwhelmed, this journal helps me track my time and the Pomodoros keep me focused. (Just google 'Pomodoro Technique' -- it's great!)Comment -

Agreed...that does not make sense. Why would the book limit the number of plays? Yes, perhaps they limit amount per play, but I have never heard of a limitation on sheer number of plays. That's how books make money!Comment -
