Also, it is not inconceivable for a local to come up short. They have bad weeks too. More likely than not you will get paid JJ. But if you do not you should think before doing anything crazy. Law enforcement is not very interested in bookmaking unless it is mob related or there are physical threats issued. If you want to get a bug up their ass threatening somebody is the way to do it. Also be aware that if you record a conversation with another person if he does not know it at the time of the recording it is usually a felony in most states.
