'They' didn't delete anything, Einstein. It's been shoved down into the Private Zone with a lot of other nonsense. We don't have much sense of humor when it comes to racial slurs.

Hell, man, be like Josh Cribbs, and take whatever opportunity you get. It's the NFL.
Out of 10,000 kids playing high school ball now, only one will get into the NFL.
EDIT: This was the old stat from the 90s. I saw that an old LA Times article is saying about 9 in 10,000. I will defer. Still, crazy odds.
WR/KR/backup-QB/practice squad whatever.

Don't think he will ever be an impact player in the NFL. He's not very accurate and doesn't have a quick release that will be required in the NFL.

I think he'd be a suitable back-up for Jamarcus Russel and Akili Smith

I don't think he'll be "one of the best QB's in the NFL" but he'll get his chance. If Tim Tebow gets a shot - then you can be damn sure Cam Newton will get a shot.

He won't be a star in the nfl . You just can't run in the nfl as much as he does without getting hurt. He can't even pass as good as tebow or v young or even j russell
Atlanta.

He will play in the NFL, but no way he will be a good QB; he should move to RB.
A team that drafts him before the 3rd round would be insane, especially if they think he will be an NFL QB.
He is not an NFL passer. No way. Great arm, yes, but that does not make it alone.
If he tries the QB run-pass thing, he will wind up like all of those types, having great games, bad games, and getting his brains knocked out... injuries galore a la Vince Young, Michael Vick, McNabb.... etc. McNabb learned after about 6 yrs that you cannot run at NFL caliber beef. So Did McNair, took him longer, got his sternum cracked, etc. (OVER / UNDER Cam Newton evidence that he was aware of his dad, the agent, and the $ 180K offer is July 1st. After the NFL Draft. Cell phone records, whatever. Oh, ESPN will say, wow, we didn't think so....)

Don't forget about Culpepper. He was supposed to be different, because he is 270 pounds. Then he scrambled for a TD and suffered a broken bone in his spine on the play...
Looking back, EaglesQB (Cunningham to those who didn't play Tecmo) was pretty damn durable. I don't remember him missing much time. Maybe I am just too young to remember though.

So will you put up a personal wager on this jj? If so, I will gladly take it. Will give you a free suite at Wynn or Encore for a week along with a meal a day and some bottles at one of our clubs if he never plays a down in the NFL. Will let the posters here decide what you will have to do when you lose. I'm sure they will be quite creative.
You said he would never play a down in the NFL. Based off that it can be at any position and since the NFL has a pre-season, those games should count as well.

He won't be a star but there are plenty of bad teams that could use someone to spark there dismal offense..... Carolina, Tennessee, Cleveland, Arizona, Minnesota......

Prop, you better learn to follow the rules around here quick before you get your ass banned. Mods don't mess around.
And to stay on topic, most NFL teams are not interested in QBs like Cam. No way he goes first round. He would be a project QB.

If he is lucky he will land on a team that is willing to use him like that.
I wonder what his hands and blocking skills would be like at TE. I doubt he would make the switch but he definitely has the size and speed. With the right play calling he could be a huge threat at TE with ability to run a QB play before the defense can swap. Imagine the offense pounding the ball on a long drive and then before you know it the O is running a 5 wr set and cam is in the back field. Good luck stopping that, coaches would be using their timeouts real quick.

Will have to bump this next year to highlight another jj fail thread. He may not play qb, but the guy is helluva athlete. He could make a stud WR
