What is this "only" a Thursday night game people speak of? I don't get it....what's the difference what night it's on if it's a great bet? If it was a Monday night game would it be a better bet?

Its only a bad bet because you know before you even made the bet the line seemed fishy, and the ending justified your suspicions.... But its far from a terrible beat. In MLB this year, I had large money on CIN the game they lost leading 9-3 bottom of ninth 10-9. My friend, THAT is a bad beat.

well, when you bet with a bookie Thursday is the beginning of the week, it doesnt really matter what happens you have all week to get it back. So historically, Thursday is a dont really give a fuk what happens day in the ancient gambling calendar. Monday night on the other hand is when the heat is on & the grim reaper may be knocking at your door

Big difference. That was part of the game.
This really wasn't.

Yes, please explain. So CINCY was supposed to lose a game they led 9-3 going into the bottom of the ninth?

Keep firing away like that and you will be in for lots more fabulous losses. After the stats I gave you above, you put your money up with that same QB on the road minus 3. That is how you suffer bad beats. You aren't supposed to have a happy ending with plays like that.
Plus, anyone who follow the Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night games, knows that crazy finishes are the norm. It is very rare not to get some type of brutal beat out when the ratings are affected and they need close games.
Keep firing away.

Bobby: The ending didn't make sense. If $50 is a blow to your bankroll then I'm sorry. $50 is still 50 bux. Maybe you really need it. It's holiday time, you can get family gifts. Everybody's pain is their own. I've lossed 1000's of dollars on one game and I've lost 30 bux and sometimes they can hurt equally

How is this difficult?
A team making a big comeback and winning is part of the game. I didn't say Cincinnati was supposed to lose it. They blew a big lead. It happens.
Tennessee scored an absolutely meaningless TD for an epic backdoor cover that had no impact on the game.
I had Tennessee +4, so I was pleased with the outcome, but it was an all time bad beat for Colts backers, and much worse than having a baseball team ML that blew a lead and lost the game.

it's HOW he lost the bet. Did you guys not watch the game? The titans played it horribly there at the end. They should have automatically went for the field goal on that possession because you want to leave yourself as much time as possible because either way, it's still going to be a 2 possession game. Fisher suffers a brain cramp and just let's his offense kill the rest of the clock to score a TD that doesn't mean shit(well except for bobby and everyone else that took the 3 points and the colts).

The worst loss of your NFL betting career and you only lost 50 bucks? Come on Bobby, people got murdered on this game and you start a thread for a 50 dollar bad beat? Not right.
