Thanks for the spreadsheet Imterrible. The OSU game (they are playing in Columbus) is an example of what I mean about playing the openers. It opened at -13 and now is -14.5/-15. That's a whole lot of lost potential winners in only 20 minutes.

Out of the four games that qualify I'm playing the only non tourney game which is Miss. St -10.
This will be my strategy moving forward. Games at neutral sites scare me; just saying..

3-1 today. I lost just a little juice. It wasn't pretty though, I have to admit. Miss St had to win in OT to get the 2nd half cover, and while they routed the 2H.....Maryland looked pathetic the first half. I'm not at all sure how they finished the game the way they did....but hey a win's a win!

I got a bit lucky on the 2H of the Kansas game. The 2H spread was 6.5 and they looked pretty unstoppable, so I put a juicy bet there even though they'd covered....so good day.

Haven't looked at tomorrow yet.

My plays: 26-6 since 11/16 which works out to 26-18. I strongly emphasize "my plays" because its obvious that this can be pushed a little in different suttle directions to come up with a "play". This is where I'm at right now.

I dont know if anyone is doing this today, but Louisville -18 is a huge bet! half, game both. they press all game unlike any other big school that are heavy favorites. silva back again this year, marshall weak up front

LoL......this is crashing and burning. Thought I'd update. Last three days I've had 11 plays and went 6-5....which nets a loss of 9 units plus juice!!!!! At this point it will take a lot of consecutive wins to catch up!!!!

I'll probably continue to track it, but I think I'm done betting. I understand variance, but it would take a lot of wins to recover and any loss tacks on 3 more unit losses.

As usual.....systems are difficult.

With football on all weekend, I ignored this and it sounds like this hit a rough couple of days.

Not telling anyone to start playing this, but I think we are done with the preseason (neutral site) tourneys. [Please correct me if I'm wrong] I wonder if we might now start seeing more winners. I recommend that we watch to see if some of the normalcy to the system returns now that teams are playing at home and can take advantage of the emotion from the crowd. Remember we are dealing with kids.

I think its too early to run this. you dont know how ur betting on. who would have thought Ralph Sampson would have been shut down by a 7foot bench player, maybe he cant be effective against other bigs.

I think about 12-15 games in this thing will be dead on.

I'm going to list possible selections going forward. I will then dissect the games on my own and post which I will play. I'll keep a record and see how it goes. I'm convinced that this still has "some-kind" of value .... We just can't go betting EVERY game blindly.

I know Bodog only had like 8 today and 72 total games played today... Sportsbook isnt good.

the best I have found is Sportsbetting.com, with BetUS 2nd best.

UCLA @ Kansas -17 (-9.5 1st half) looks to fit the bill today. Although, I haven't found a first half moneyline. My book doesn't have moneylines for the halfs. The sbrforum odds page is pretty useful, but I can't find the half spreads or moneylines on it either. Does anyone have a better source for odds for the 1st half?

I have no idea what the true record is at this point. I've decided that I won't bet any of these "blindly". I'll use them as a starting point and select 1 or 2 that I truly think will cover. Since then I'm 3-0.

I'm hitting OAKLAND a bit harder than usual tonight! Keith Benson is an absolute BEAST. He will run wild in this one. Oakland is 3-3 & 5 out of those 6 were quality opponents all on the Road. The one cupcake on the schedule (at home) was a 52pt Beat Down!! Meanwhile Southern Utah is 2-4 with all 4 losses by double digits.

Sorry, I could go back to check all the scores and see whether they panned out or not. I just thought that is the purpose of the system thread: to track the % of w/l to see if its worth following or not. I have done some help here to get you moneylines and spreads from my books, but I have to say if you are not keeping track of it, its probably not a winner. Otherwise someone would be overly excited about it, and would have kept track of it. this is just my opinion. Best of luck on your plays.

DR - I appreciate your input for sure!! As I've said a couple of times... it's clearly not working as well as in the past. I've decided to dissect the possible games and play the ones I think have a higher chance of winner. Following EVERY game blindly simply isn't proving profitable.

Take Oakland 1st Half

we might need to just adjust the filter to see if the % rises. maybe something like
A. -9.5 game ATS, -1800 ml, no 1/2 ml (i think this is what our current filter is)
B. -13 game ATS, -3500 ml, no 1/2 ml
c. -17 game atc, -5000 ml, no 1/2 ml
this way if you are doing the work (if you were keeping up with w/l) you would know which filter is more appropriate to win with. I do like your system, but it should be tracked and possibly tweeked or add deeper filters to see if you can make $ off it. Thanks, and bol on your plays.
