Hey all--this is awful I know, so please save the lectures. I have been able to keep my gambling to very very rare (a few times per year) and very small 10$ bets on those times. However, my wife was out of town this weekend, and I had a lot going on, and i fell of the wagon--$1000 worth. Part of me really wants to try disputing the charges. I didnt even think about it until the bank called me today and i said i would look into it.
They have a credit card authorization form that i signed that said I could be a target of 3rd party collections. They also have copies of my ID and debit card.
I know the advice is take it like a man and pay--but i am a good person who really messed up. Is there anything they can do to me because they have that form, or is it all scare tactics? Please help, and don't judge me. I put myself in an awful mess.
