Interesting read. Good to see the book follow through and comply with everything they said they would.
Obviously it sucks that this process had to be taken to get to this point, and hopefully they'll be better with IP issues in the future.
This is what happens when you play at smaller books I guess. They don't have the resources to get things solved quickly, and don't have the money to be able to just payout on every complaint without doing the legwork. I think that's the risk you take, and I probably wouldn't want to deal with the hassles, but I do wish the book well in the future. It certainly doesn't seem like they're trying to cheat anyone, they're just making sure they don't get cheated themselves and it becomes a pain in the ass for everybody.Comment -

I can personally assure that this is not a matter of money…. GV is not only limited to GV betting but it has may other branches in various business.
The issue around here is that we offer bonuses that are not common to the market which vary from 100 to 300Euros every 15 days. As these type of bonus are common every month you get exposed to customers that abuse by registering two accounts or more. As you can understand this leads up to more checks and more headaches. In addition LGA are enforcing their regulations so you need to check more in detail and be sure that you have all the information they need to sustain a case.
With regards to other major bookies they have their normal clientele so they do not need to do these type of bonuses and apart from that most of the leading companies are not registered under LGA.

First I have to say, that my personal experiences were flawless about this betting office.
Paid in the money, received bonus, made the rollover, withdrawed part of the balance, sent ID as requested, received the money to MB in a few hour.
By the time I took the offer, I seriously considered to bet with GV, but the oddses were simply too low (I placed mostly MLB and NBA bets, and the oddses for these were VERY low compared to the competition)....
BUT.....
...the large ammount of negative feedbacks in this forum are a very bad omen for a Bookmaker...when a this big ammount of complaints appear with nearly the same problem about a bookie, this makes me think, that this bookmaker tries to make everything to avoid paying out winnings, if they found the smallest problem about an user...I am not convinced, that this is the truth, I have to say, that with a this good bonus, bonus hunters and cheaters will surely appear in a great number too....
I would be interested in your opinion about the case of SBR user "Karcsi" - as you said you will answer to all complaints - / post 46-50 of this topic / , as this user is from my country, and his case seemed to be unsolved without a real answer for me...and this finally made me to forget about GV as betting office, and a lot of (SBR reading) users of my country thought the same.

With regards to the volume of complains I only see six customers compiling out of 8,000 bonuses given since the opening of GoldVictory. In addition each customers had been given individual attention and refund back. It would be nice as well to see positive comments but as a normal reaction customers go to the forums only when they have an issue. We do receive daily positive feedback via email but not the same amount into forums.
To further improve our support we do also go into forums when requested by moderators as you may have noticed around this is something not common by other operators.
As for your query;

I have 2 questions about this case, as the "devil's lawyer"...and maybe Karcsi will reply too, I will send him a pm that he can discuss the problem with you now.
1, When I registered, I read through the rules, and I didn't remember this "internet cafe" rule, but that was long ago, and I don't know when did Karcsi place the suspicious bets, and when did he register to GV.
Can you please check if it's added BEFORE or AFTER the suspicious activity of "Karcsi"....if it's added before he made the bets, the case is clear, they made a big mistake. But if it's not....as Karcsi's case is a rather old one, I guess that this rule was created after it, which means he (and his colleagues) didn't violate the rules of GV by placing bets from an internet cafe.
I guess SBR can easily decide this question, as they are doing rule/faq monitoring if I know well
2, Can you please check the stake of the placed bets, if he reached the limit which was the max. offered by GV, I agree that would be very suspicious, as you say...but if this is not true, and the bets he made didn't reach the max. limit offered by GV for the mentioned events, I am sure we cannot speak of cheating with the intention to bet more on an event, which is possible for one user.
If both these which I wrote stands, IMHO the forfeiting of the full balance is not a correct step from a bookmaker, and it would be a nice move from GV to reconsider paying out part of the balance (not the whole I guess, just part as the player(s) clearly made a mistake).
Please look after these questions, and reconsider "opening the case" if what I wrote is true....

Kindly note that from day one GV rules stated that.
We do not allow;
Multiple accounts linked to one IP.
Multiple accounts per household.
Multiple linked account placing duplicated bets.
The rules may have been updated to be more simplified but the three basic rules stated above are specific LGA regulation that we had to adhere to. Moreover note that each version of the rules are sent for approval before they can be published.
With regards to the FAQ the Internet statement had been placed online mid November.
As Karcsi stated in the post he admitted he used multiple account from the same computer. Weather he accessed the internet from work, home or internet café is irrelevant. The rules clearly stated that we do not permit multiple account via one single IP. If this happens once or if this happened by coincidence we can accept that but regularly and admitting you did it on purpose is another thing.
Furthermore Karcsi stated that they placed duplicated bets from multiple account from the same internet connection at the same time. Again he was in breach of our rules no matter the bet amount. We vary the limits per game or per Tipp, it might be that on game ID 335 right now there is a limit of 200Euro on Tipp1 while on game ID 336 the bet limit is of 400Euro on Tipp1. As can understand limits are set to allow a number of individuals to bet on a specific game rather than allowing a single individual to take all the allocated funds on the specific Tipp. Placing the same bet from multiple accounts is a another way to extended your limits.
Note that any winnings done illegitimate are to be revoked. If you made winnings via bonus and bet limits abuse the winnings are no longer legitimate.
Imagine you rented a car, and you drive all the way over speeding and drinking, being unlucky you hit a pole and you damaged the car. What are you going to tell the police and the agency…. Yes I was driving at full speed and I was drunk, but I still want my money back plus the taxi money as I did not arrive to destination?
It sound funny but it s not much different from what happened here.

I understand your point of view, my concern is, that you don't even give the chance for a user to clear his name, by checking back if he reached the limit for that bet he placed, or not - logs can surely show this -, or by verifying that all Karcsi and his colleagues are real persons, by verifying their ID-s, addresses, etc....I can imagine, that all he wrote is true, but simply made an amateur mistake by not checking through your rules first.
My opinion is, that Karcsi made a big mistake, but I am not sure that he wanted to cheat GV (as I wrote, by checking back if he reached the given limits for the bets he placed, would clear this), simply was amateur enough to not to read through all rules carefully. Yes, I know this was a stupid thing, one of the worst mistake a bettor can make, but when I was a "few-months-bettor", I remember, I didn't read through the rules either, so this actually can happen.
As I wrote, your opinion is acceptable, no question. He clearly broke a rule, so you can take his bonus and winnings. But the good faith is missing from this decision, which I guess is a really important factor if a Bookmaker wants to lure and keep customers, and it matters for me a lot when choosing to play at a bookmaker or not. I also think, that the reason of many negative feedbacks for GV, that the users are seeing, that GV handles the questionable situations without any good faith, and not always as a professional bookmaker.
I know, that a bookie has to protect his own interests, and in a very clear situation, where somebody tries to cheat them, they have to make fast and harsh decisions. This case is not that clear for me, and that fact shows this too IMHO, that you were first reasoning with false (internet café rule, as it was created later), and not checked back (if the limits were reached or not) reasons too.
I remember having very similar problems with a bookmaker many years ago (without name), as they had similar rules as GV. My brother registered there on his 18th birthday, and placed the similar bet as I did 15 mins ago (of course, I told him on that morning, that team xy will surely win), from the similar IP, as he didn't ask me before doing it...as a new user, he even took the first deposit bonus of this office too. Our account were locked, but after I explained the situation to the bookie, and provided evidence that both of us are real bettors (they called both of us on our registered phone nr. if I remember), our account were unlocked (tho' they asked to not to do the same mistake again, or the next account closing will be permament). Since that, I am still a member of that bookie, and often play there.
You wrote that 6 complaints from thousands of registrations are not much...I have to say, that not only GV offers this kind of generous bonus (tho' it's rare, for sure), for example I haven't seen a lot of users complaining about Bet365 confiscating winnings from their 100%, 100 eur first deposit bonus...and not all people with problems turn to the publicity of betting forums.
My opinion about this, as I wrote, that with a little good faith, you could give chance for Karcsi to prove he didn't cheat, and make an agreement with him if he correctly does it, like paying the 50% of his balance out....
As you wrote a "car example" for this situation, I have to reply with another example...I buy a book from a shop (and forgot to take the invoice), and realise later, that pages are missing from it.
I go back to the shop, and ask them to exchange the book for a good one, admitting, that I made a mistake, and forgot to take the invoice...The shopkeeper can answer me, that "no invoice, no exchange"...or he can simply ask the seller if he remembers me or not, and if yes, give me a good book, adding, that next time please take the invoice....In the first case, I accept the decision, as I was silly to not to take the invoice, but next time, I am sure I will go to a different book shop. In the second case, I guess I will remember how they handled the problem, and if I want to buy a book, I will go there if possible.

We log each instant per millisecond.
Point 2. Not requesting ID to proof they exist
Everyone even locked accounts are requested for ID’s and proof off add. No refund can take place without obtaining docs.
Point 3. amateur enough to not to read through all rules carefully
The rules include … Amount to deposit amount of bonus. How to request a bonus. What is the minim odds. This where clear for the user
In the same page it is clear as well that we allow one IP. How come for half the rules it was clear for the rest he was an amateur.
Point 4. situations without any good faith
I assume that being here offering my assistance is more than a good gesture to show that we do all that is possible to communication.
TruckerJoe post clearly show that we spent over 15 days trying to communicate and see if he is really that unlucky. I assume it shows our good fate that until you keep on communicating with us we keep communicating with you back. We never close stop conversation from our end. Apart from that note that even though SBRforum helped a lot the communication and results were always via email not via forum. Untill we keep on the forum I cannot act on your request as I don’t have the required confidential info.
Point 5.Internet café rules
Once more that is not a rule it is an FAQ. To better assist customers. You can be assured that that rule had been there since 2007.
With regards to GV general T&C they never change it had been listed from day one that multiple account linked to one IP are to be locked.
It is irrelevant if you bet from your place of work internet café or home.
Point 6. Bonus
You can be assured that in the past months we had the best bonuses and the best condition.
Point 7. Pay out
How many times in your opinion are we to allow a genuine mistake?
Right now if we find that a user was linked at least 3 times with another account we put him under investigation
If this continues we lock him down and we notify him, in addition we refund him back.
Point 8. About the book
OK lets use the book… but not the way you stated as it has no match..
You paid me for the book(made a deposit on GV).. I gave you the book requested (your account was updated)… In addition I gave you a bonus book for free(we added the bonus money)… I told you how to use it and I gave you an invoice (so you read the rules and we place them online)…. The first thing you do is give away the books to you friend allowing them to use it read it share it whatever… Then you had the invoice on your desk and the instructions in front of you 24h and you did bother checking them. (you and friend used multiple account from same IP and placed same bets… had the rules to double check online). The invoice stated that although it is a book made out of papers you are not supposed to paint or write on it, but as an armature you still did it your own way. After a while you discovered that you can’t read the books and it was you and your friend NOT the bookshop that messed the book with all the paint and pen. But you still go to the shop and you tell him… Sir note that me and my friend painted the book cause we felt that is the way we had to use it… and sorry I had the invoice and the rules in front of me but still I left it home just cause I forgot it.. Do you expect in return that the shop keeper will refund you back for messing the books?
As odd as it can sound YES … we did refund you back the money but we can’t refund you back the free book which you didn’t pay for … we just refunded you back the money you paid for it even though you were wrong in what you did. In addition you ask me that you want back the money of the paint that you used for it cause according to you now the book that you paid 20Euro is more nice and it now costs 30Euro, but you accept that I should keep the free book.
You still see us as being strict and intolerable?
Well again I m here to assist you … fell free to contact me on support@goldvictory.com State that this email is originated from SBR forum as requested by GV staff and I will personally reopen the case. If it is genuine as much as you say I will reinstate in full his account without any conditions. If he did breach the rules server times don’t expect me to do a miracle.

I promised to not to write anything in this matter, now I only have to clear, that I only posted in the forum, not contacted you via support, as I am NOT the same person as Karcsi, as I already wrote. I do not know what did he exactly do, if he cheated or not, I just saw, that after he posted the case in this forum, your support gave him a meaningless answer, without even looking in the case. I do not know his user name, and I do not have any right to contact an official support line in the case of another user - I could only ask a few questions from you, which I did, and I will write a PM just after this post to Karcsi, that you offered to look deeper in his case - and I do not want to do anything further about this (maybe only to hear the conclusion). As I said, I only had good experience about GV, so I don't want to make a bad advertisement for GV, just asked a few questions, that's all.
I only tried to help him with my posts, as he is from my country, and it seemed to me, that his case worths a few posts...I do not have any interest in this case, and if he really cheated, he should be punished - if not, I hope you will help him.

Secondly, thanks to the owner of goldvictory for using some common sense and overriding his junior staff's decision.
I can't believe its taken 2 months, but at least justice has been done thanks to the force known as sportsbookreview. I have no doubt that without the weight of SBR, and its regular posters, that I would have lost my money.
I'm going to refrain from making any comments about goldvictory. If you are reading this thread, there's plenty of information about the pro's and con's. All I know is that I did nothing wrong, and was royally screwed for almost 2 months. Their software got it wrong, and I was seriously inconvenienced because of that.
If you really want to play here, I would recommend that you check with goldvictory support to make sure that your ip address is unique to you.

I have an account in GoldVictory, I established that account when I saw their great bonus - 100% up to 200e, so I could'n miss this one. I payed in 200 e in July and got 200e bonus and I placed some bets and 09.08. I had 671.20 euro. I wrote this date because they just blocked my acount and payed me back only my deposit 200e minus fee 25e. I was totally suprised and wrote to them ,sent there many scans to proof my identity but I got only this information from their support:
