Let's talk about users that all they do is - bash
Ok, I have addressed this issue to several moderators over the past month, nothing has happened. I never posted in this forum, but now that I went over it I see there is a lot of very important info, so I will try to get something going through here.

I believe most of you know who I am, and what I have done over the past few months. About a month ago I started hitting some bad times on my MLB thread after a MONSTER start and then from no where the "bashers" came along. People are evil from day 1 so I'm not surprised, but when users accused you of "cheating" or questioning your integrity with no proof and nothing happens to them, well, that is WRONG.

To add to that I see EVERYDAY people bash top users for the smallest thing, if it's a losing day, a losing pick, a bet that was published too close to a game, or a missed unit of 0.0001 ... and so on. It's part of the game and I don't expect everything to be positive, criticism is important, but when it's PURE BS something has to be done.

I really hope that thanks to this thread things will change. As I mentioned from day 1, I do this for a living, I will do it with or without SBR. I think SBR is by far the #1 forum on the web, I have learned a lot thnx to some users here, but I'm not a child and don't want to deal with this crap daily, even when I do well they find BS to spread around.

I agree with you on most of your points Grumpy

I think the best thing to do is ignore these people, though it may be difficult, they will go away eventually

Sometimes it's hard when you know they only come into your thread to bash you

    Good luck

I have enjoyed following your threads and I respect your work ethic and the time you put in. I also agree with a lot of what your wrote above. I know I've said it before but I think the biggest problem with posting plays is that people have unrealistic expectations and they do not understand variance. Even if you win in the longrun you are going to have several stretches where you lose a bunch of games in a row. Don't let negative comments from a few people who have nothing to contribute bother you.

Haters hate and players play on.

Regardless of what forum you join there is always, ALWAYS gonna be guys who bust chops, break balls or just out and out hate on most anyone. If you're winning there will always be some who want to see you fail. If you're losing there will always be some who like to rub salt. If you make a mistake, actually fudge a record or edit a play then all hell will come down on you.

At the end of the day every individual knows what he or she has done and that's all that really matters. Publically posting a play, a record or even an opinion is just an open invite for the haters to pounce. It's not right but it is what it is and something we all have to deal with.

To be honest with you this is the first post I have ever seen of yours so I don't know your style of posting. I can tell you that if you post a play and express severe confidence in it ot borderline present it in a cocky fashion then the hate will be multiplied. If you re-act to the hate it will only get more intense.

It's sad that someone applies their craft and decides to share it with others and some choose to hate but that is the environment we exist in.

            .
I bash all the time but not for the stuff listed above. I do it for the arrogant, cocky pricks who have to make up lies to make themselves look great on a goddamn internet gambling board... i wonder which posters that could be
