I prefer Paris and a little brewery/casino-book called Barleys. Paris is good with some friends, descent setup up with tvs and tables, if you are on a the strip. Barleys is a little out, think its in Henderson (about 10 mins outside the strip), only go here if you are with the boys, can get pickled for almost nothing and watch the games from the numerous tvs they have. Those are my two spots. Good luck.

As far as betting they are all the same 10%, lines do not vary that much. It all depends where you want to watch the games. Some Books give free drinks, some give you coupons for drinks if you make $50 and over bets, some only give drinks if you are playing the ponies. I like Bellagio, Paris, Mandalay Bay. Another good place to watch is a Brew Pub on the first floor of the Monte Carlo, lots of TVs and Microbeers not far from the Sportsbook.

most of the sportsbooks in the old town, have better lines than the big places like MGM in the new part.

If you want to stay down the strip by MGM, then go to the Tropicana they usually have better lines than the other places on that block.

If you want free drinks without having to give coupons, then the bellagio and hilton are the places to go. Most props are at the Hilton and Plaza.

+1, Lagasse Stadium at the Palazzo has a great setup. Stadium style seating with nice, comfortable couches, it's fairly new, and they were good about giving several drink tickets when I made a bet.

Just stayed at the Palazzo - Lagasse Stadium is pretty awesome but gets very crowded. They reserve a lot of the couches for their big players.

Thanks for the translation. And for the record, I agree.

In any event, this thread has shown me I need to drink a more tonight.

This used to be the case at Imperial Palace when it was an independent before it was bought by Harrahs a few years ago. That is no longer the case as the IP has the same lines as ALL Harrahs' properties do. And, if you would study the overall lines, betting limits, lack of props, and their payouts on parlays & teasers, you would realize that Harrahs is arguably the WORST place to bet at in Vegas.

That being said, one of their properties, Caesars Palace, has a very nice sports book.

M-Resort. Its a new place way out at the south edge of town. In South Point territory. I've never been there, but have heard good things.

Article in the paper from a few months ago about the sportsbook at the M

The year-old M Resort sports book not only looks different from almost all of its competitors in Southern Nevada, it sounds different. It’s less of a roller coaster of yells and groans and more of a steady rumbling, a hum that sounds more machine than man-made. Most sports books offer ...

Don't think I will ever go back to the strip to place a bet / watch a game ever again. Except the Hilton theater for March Madness. That was insane last year.

M has all three. Very comfortable book as the resort is basically brand new. Excellent deli right next to the book where you can get anything from a reuben to a slice of pizza. Lots of betting options including live in-game betting.

Green Valley Ranch is very nice! And the poster is right. If you've never had a Fatburger, you should definitely go! Good onion rings and shakes, also. Good steak house at GVR, Hank's. But eat at the bar where they have $5 martinis during happy hour. The Italian Restaurant, Terra Verde, has $20 happy hour Fridays where it is all you can drink on wine and free appetizers.

Plus, it is an easy 15 minute drive to the Strip from GVR.

The poster is correct in the fact the M and the Hilton have the sharpest numbers in town. (especially the M)
