Three games played this season with all three being won by the road team, by 1 point... IMO, playing chalk in this series is a mistake, at least in Game 1 before you see more of how this is going to shake down.

I want to say the Lakers in 6, but the Celtics have more big men than any other team the Lakers have played in earlier rounds, and Bynum's knee has been getting worse. As clutch as Kobe has been, Pierce/Rondo have been on fire.

It basically comes down to adapting,experience,coaching and hunger: Mike Brown is more of a defensive coach or maybe a traditional assistant type. VanGundy has one style and players who win one way. I cant take anything away from Boston, they have played great. Even if you claim that Boston had a tougher road than the Lakers, the one thing you cant deny is that they havent played anybody who can adapt or has the experience and/or is coached as well as the Lakers. With one definitive fact, when it comes down to the wire I wouldnt want nobody else but Kobe on my team...

Nobody can stop Kobe. There is no way James is better than Kobe. James choked in the play-offs. We saw what Kobe did.

James 2010 Playoff averages and percentages: 29.1 PPG, 50.2% shooting, 40% from 3, 9.3 RPG, 7.64 APG, 3.82 turnovers per game.

Bryant 2010 playoff averages and percentages: 29.4 PPG, 48.3% shooting, 40.5% from 3, 5.1 RPG, 6.19 APG, 3.25 turnovers per game.

James shot slightly better, FAR more rebounds, more than an assist per game more, slightly more turnovers per game but nothing noticeable. And Kobe had the benefit of 6 games against PHOENIX.

James was hurt but he still outplayed Kobe this year in the playoffs so far. Kobe is just on a much better team than Lebron.

Kobe's averages are all going to go down vs Boston except turnovers which will go up.

Lebron is the better player. When he is not hurt he is unstoppable.

Oh defensively. Lebron had 19 steals and 20 blocks. Kobe had 16 steals and 12 blocks. And Kobe has played 5 more games than Lebron.

So Lebron is better defensively too. There really is just no comparison between the 2.

As for who will win the series, I like Boston. Garnett even though way past his prime is a much better defensive player than Amare. Perkins is much better defensively than any other Phoenix center. Lakers for the first time in the playoffs are not going to be able to dominate inside. That will force Bryant to try to do more and he will get tired. Artest is going to give Pierce a hard time. I like Boston to win though. Rondo is the difference. Boston is better defensively than LA is.
