Kobe has got a pretty good memory and I don't think he liked the way things turned out in 2008. Plus Artest will lock down Pierce and Gasol will have a better matchup against Garnett than he did against A'Mare.

The Lakers will have to figure out how to stop Rajon Rondo. Still when it's all said and done, Lakers in 6.

Gasol a different player than he was last time around, bos playing physical wont throw him off his game this time around , Bynum is a big time added bonus, Artest should be more important in this series with his D on Pierce...last time it was pretty much Kobe vs a very good team defense, now he believes in his guys and bos will not be able to just hound kobe without paying for it...still think it should be a good final, Lake Show in 6 maybe 7

If anyone does like the Celtics, the best value would likely be in taking an arb between Celtics (4-2) & Celtics (4-3), or just the 4-2 straight. If they don't take one of the first two games, their chance of winning the series falls from slim to non-existant, IMO.

even though i believe this is La series and they have been unbeatable at home it wouldnt surprise me at all if bos gets 1 of the 1st two in La but La will get 1 or 2 in bos

Bynum not 100% could be a big factor here, if Celtics can neutralize Lakers' front court - esp Odom and Gasol, then Celtics will win.

I'd love to say lakers sweep but that's not going to happen. I say lakers in 7. Ron artest was brought to the lakers to deal with lebron and pierce. He's going to shut down pierce. Only thing i'm worried about is Rondo. Luckily he is injured so hopefully he won't come with his quickness. If he does, then the lakers will have problems. Lets not forget that the lakers have home court!

yea sure Rondo will give them some problems, but hey what point doesnt give la problems? im sure they will figure out a way to deal with it, my guess would be putting up a wall so he cant drive to the hoop with those floaters or dish and try to turn him into a jump shooter
