most of the games will be played after ONLY 1 day of rest. only games 2 and 5 will have 2 days of rest. who do u think favors this schedule??? i doubt it's the celtics.

barring injuries, lakers wins this series!

              errrr... let's see:

is rondo better than westbrook, deron williams or steve nash? OR is he more like the same as them? btw 'them' all have been contained by the lakers.
kg midjumpers? again, more of the same! boozer and amare ring a bell?
ray allen? again, more of the same! durant, korver and all the suns shooters ring any bell?

i must admit, celtics looks really solid! but this aint the lakers they defeated 2 yrs ago.

the more i look at it, the more i think the lakers have been polished to face and win against the celtics this year. not to mention the revenge angle, the homecourt advantage, phil getting his rematch w/ doc (heck, he even asked paul pierce to step it up a year ago so they meet up again) and yeah let's not forget kobe wanting to solidify his legacy!

i could be wrong but these are my observations and im sticking with it!

              BOL to all!

                Celtics in 6

                Rondo over Fisher
                Pierce over Artest
                Perkins vs Bynum, even
                KG vs Gasol, even
                Kobe over Allen

                Celtics bench is better
                Better defense

                dont like the 2-3-2 format
dont trust Artest, Odom, Bynum, Gasol

game 6 will actually be in LA!

                      finals format is: 2-3-2

lakers have the homecourt this year as they have a better regular season record than the celtics. so it's:

                      games 1 & 2 in LA
                      games 3, 4 & 5 in Boston
                      games 6 & 7 in LA

                      *5, 6 & 7 if necessary

I give Boston a shot. Their edge could be in the middle and the bench. Nate Robinson could be a key factor. Also Bynum's health, he isn't moving that well with the knee issues. Boston's three headed middle monster's may be too much for the Laker's if Bynum can't go. The schedule favor's the Laker's plus there is the Kobe and Phil factors. As a lifetime Laker fan I would love to see them win it all. But as player Boston may be the right side to be on.

The schedule favors the Lakers in many variables. With no prolonged delays between games, the Lakers will be more up to a high performance. also lets not forget the format of 2-3-2. Lakers should protect home court in the first 2 games. However, Boston has a huge disadvantage with 3 straight at home. They are very vulnerable to drop 1 game or even 2 games there as they don't perform as well than on the road. The size of Odom, Gasol and Bynum with the perimeter D of Artest, Fish and Kobe will cause problems for Boston. Farmar and Vujacic can come in if Fish can't control Rondo, which I think is the only advantage Boston has. Their is no eddie house this time so their is no pest that can control Kobe.

Big Baby Davis will not do as well in this series and Perkins is pretty much a wash with Bynum with Bynum having more offensive firepower. Gasol will eat up Garnet. Pierce in my opinion is trash. I still can't forget that horrible display of sportsmanship by getting taken off the floor only to be like a hero in return. Kobe has an agenda to get another championship and how sweet it is to be facing the Celtics.

Lakers in 5 with them losing game 4.

                                                    Good stuff men

Usually after game 1 you can tell how matchups are

If Kobe struggles in game 1 to get shots like Lebron did then the play will be Boston for the series

Boston won 2of5 at the Staples Temple while LA won 2of5 at Boston...

Boston is stronger by a milestone since regular season while the Fake show is the same or maybe even peaked already and this season they handed each-other defeat on each-others soil so the advantage goes to Boston
