i know i shouldn't play, but i am an addict I am pretty terrible at limit, i would at least have a chance to win if i was in a no limit state. But i have to stop talking and thinking like that. That is what gets me playing again

you probably won't listen but here is my advice:

- quit gambling
- go to GA meetings
- stay away from this website and forget about your point loans
- start investing in yourself, go to college or get a job that doesn't require a degree (there are lots out there - govt jobs, construction, sales jobs, etc.)
-don't listen to anyone on here who says to use money mgt. compulsive gamblers cant use money mgt.

and most importantly:

forget about the 5k, that is pennies to what most people have lost.

if you don't quit now, you will always look back and say "why didnt i quit when i was down 5k, now i'm down XXX"...

but it's up to you bud, ive seen a lot of buddies ruin their life doing this..

It's already been said earlier in the thread many times over. OMG continues to post here because he is still addicted and unwilling to change for the long term. I'm happy he has quit betting for the last number of days but this is temporary. It's like an alcoholic going to a bar every night. It's not going to go away until he leaves SBR.

still quit, been sort of easy cause I have been quite sick the last week or so. Sore throat, and a nasty caugh all day long. It's been 9 days now. Not that long but its a start. Haven't gambled a penny, don't plan on gambling anything, even points. If I win then it just makes me think more about the real $$$ i could of won.
