The Bullseye looks to get back on track after a tough Week 4 showing. Here is who the team is rolling with for Week 5 action:
Esten McLaren - BYU Cougars +3.5 (-110)
"Notre Dame has won back-to-back games after an 0-2 start but No. 16 BYU will the be the Fighting Irish's toughest opponent since their Week 1 loss to Ohio State. This will be played on a neutral field at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and the controlled conditions will lend themselves to Cougars QB Jaren Hall and his 70.2 completion percentage being able to score against an Irish defense allowing a mediocre 6.9 yards per pass attempt. Hall has 10 passing touchdowns without an interception across his last four games."
Jon Metler - Atlanta Falcons +9 (-115)
"Despite the Falcons' 4-0 ATS record, I do not believe the markets have properly caught up to the level at which they are playing. We are seeing a +9 available on the Falcons, and this is easily one of my favorite spread picks of the week. I make the Buccaneers a 6-point favorite over the Falcons, so I will gladly take the +9. The Falcons have moved up my power ratings faster than they have for most other people, which is evident in my line."
Andrew Brennan - Miami Dolphins -3 (-118)
"You’d assume the Dolphins would still be closer to the 6-point favorites they opened as if Tua was healthy. But I don’t think Teddy Two Gloves is that much of a downgrade. Bridgewater performed admirably as the starter in a dull Broncos offensive system last year (ask Russell Wilson how that’s going) and played reasonably well in a tough spot last week following Tua’s brutal injury. He’s got a ton of offensive firepower at his disposal and will help the Dolphins get back on track with a touchdown-plus victory."
Michael McClymont - Raiders/Chiefs Over 50.5 (-115)
"It's the highest total of the week, but these division rivals have blown past this number in their last four matchups. Expect another AFC West shootout."
Sean Tomlinson - Lions/Patriots Over 45.5 (-113)
"The Lions field the league's top scoring offense (35 points per game) and worst defense (35.3 points per game). Unsurprisingly, Detroit is the only team that's 4-0 to the Over, with the Lions' four games so far averaging an absurd 70.3 total points. That includes shootout losses against the Philadelphia Eagles (38-35) and the Seattle Seahawks (48-45). Meanwhile, the Patriots are weaker offensively and Mac Jones' status remains uncertain. But Bailey Zappe was under center when they scored 24 points in Week 4."
