We started leaving the stadium once we thought Raiders scored. While leaving we heard the TD was overturned. Alot of us started watching from a TV on the concourse, when acouple attempts and Raiders didn’t get in and then that INT we started going crazy!!!

I will never forget the guy who put down 60k to win 5k on the Steelers ML against the Raiders many years ago and Raiders won outright as like 11 point road dogs. I always felt like if the guy wasn’t confident Pitt was going to cover why not just put $5500 on Oakland +11 (Oakland at the time)?

I've made similar dumb bets but he was probably confident they were gonna win but was worried about getting backdoored. I bet KC 2H just to get back my losses from a bases parlay & Novak 2nd set loss. It was a bad bet cuz if you're gonna lay 7 on a HT bet might as well just take the over (27.5) since the Browns just had to score 10 points to make it a bad bet. Same rationale as that guy's bet (What if KC outscores them 20-7 fukking the over & in his case the Steelers win by 10?). That's why we each wound up making retarded bets but mine luckily worked out & his didn't.

winning bet here because you factored in the browns being the browns and messing the game up to ONCE AGAIN lose week 1... same mentality i had to make bets on Seattle -3 regardless of the fact I was going to the game as a Colts fan... I know the team and everything in the preseason told you that Seattle was the easiest play of the week and only way it could lose was if Russ got hurt early in the game. Colts have now lost 8 openers in a row.

you have to bet with your brain and not your heart in the NFL... make business decisions just like the owners/players do for themselves.

It worked this time but I'm just talking about the concept of laying at least 7 in the 2H if the favored home team is down by at least 10 when it probably makes more sense to take the over. USC/Stanford perfect example. Didn't bet it but was strongly considering USC -9.5 when over 26.5 was clearly the play. Tough decision cuz when the spread is that high they don't let you parlay it with the over cuz of the correlation.
