I See 3 Games Today That The Lines Seem a Little Off...
I am going with these 3 today...

9-12 Phillies go into 14-10 Atlanta. Nola 2-1 2.05 ERA / Fried 3-0 1.24 ERA and Braves barely a favorite.

15-11 White Sox go into Wrigley field against the 16-8 Cubs. Keuchel 3-2 3.07 ERA / Lester 2-0 2.74 ERA and Sox are around even? Lol.

8-18 Angels travel to 18-8 Oakland. Heaney 1-1 4.74 ERA / Fiers 2-1 5.96 ERA but you are giving me an 8-18 team as a favorite over a 18-8 team?

    Phillies +100 (Nola/Fried)

    White Sox -105 (Keuchel/Lester)

    Angels -112 (Heaney/Fiers)

I could get behind Angels first five innings with their lineup against Fiers. Heaney a stud too just don’t trust that bullpen.

Linemakers set many of these games as reverse traps knowing that many like you just bet the mistakes. At some point, the more of you that do this will end up breaking even. I was betting like this making my bones when you were still screwing cheerleaders and going out on the playground.

EDIT: And its not always about the record. It's about pitchers. How they pitch against certain lineups and hitters. How has the pitcher been pitching? Well, Fiers got punished last time for sure if I'm correct. Maybe the Angels play well in Oakland.

My point is you can't just go on the record, pitcher ERA, and the lines. Maybe it has worked so far, but mushes can eventually run into the same thought process.

as a phils fan, they're a good pick today. everyone and their grandmom chewed them out after yesterday's performance. they should at least play with intensity tonight. nola himself usually clowns the braves and is off to a great start. if they can score at least 3 and nola goes deep, you should have a great shot.

so with that said, final score: braves 16, phils 1

I am a Phillies fan as well. With them you can "expect the unexpected" They rarely to what they are supposed to do. One would think after yesterday's nightmare doubleheader, they would be down and lose today. Therefore, I think they win. A very hard team to figure out.

No clue how you guys can say you love the Phils after those games yesterday. There’s plenty of talent on the roster but a clear drop off when it comes to guys like Kingery and Quinn. So they play a high scoring double header yesterday then travel south. Sounds like tired bats to me. And the Braves have hit Nola plenty especially once the 5th inning rolls around. Push your narrative all you want but consider the other side always. BOL

I think the line that seemed really off was the total of 8 or 8.5 with two supposed Cy Young candidates on the mound. Im not a totals guy, but doesn't such a scenario typically call for a line of below 8?
