It's funny that despite having immigrant parents Sampras' family were pretty chilled and put no pressure on him with his tennis career, to just have fun and see how it goes, while Aggasi's dad basically had all these hopes and dreams that one of his kids would achieve all the pinnacles of tennis, the no 1 ranking, winning the slams, gold medal perhaps, and drilled him throughout his childhood on it. Yet while on different paths and beginnings both became champions in their own right, and their style of play and on court persona reflected their upbringing.
