Despite being 33, how come Lebron shows no signs of slowing down?

Although amazing what he is doing, and I love lebron. There is definite signs of aging. He is a smarter offensive player, but he cannot carry a team like he did in the past because he spends all of his energy on one side of the floor, and cannot play D anymore. He carried a far less talented team in his 20s to a much better record. He plays zero D now. One of the worst ranked defenders in the league. Not because he can't play d he just can't, at his advanced age, do both for 40 minutes a night.
