Years ago I looked forward to watching the BMX because I grew up with that in the 80's and rode myself. Eventually the best BMX riders and other guys started racing cars and they started adding dumb shit. That is when I lost interest.

I think the thing that makes the X Games appealing to some is that feeling that you could watch someone die because of the crazy shit that they are doing. Like a double back flip on a motorcycle.

Yea pretty lame, I switched soon as half pipe was off the screen. Not that amazing to watch, not as if there a ton of different things anyone can do with those or snowmobiles. Then you gotta listen to 5 min of commentary on the "technical" aspects of it as you see same replay 5x, lol.

No doubt. These sports used to be fun loving partiers that hated the commercialization of everything. Shun the sellouts all that crap. Now they are all sellouts. Used to watch quite a few of the events (10 years or so ago). Now I only watch Mens slopestyle and Big Air. I turned on Superpipe last night, saw no Shaun White, so flipped back on foxnews.
