    I did hear this after the Louisville game. I feel like I should be refunded for every bet I made on wake Forest the last few years. I could never figure them out. Now it all makes sense. The mole sabotaged the team as they scored very little in the second halves of games. The Clemson/WF game last year comes to mind. O/U 48, the score is 27-10 at the half and wake can't score a single point the second half at home. Damn you play by play guy

    why would his actions cause WF to get outscored more in the 2nd half? wouldn't it cause them to get outscored more from the beginning?

    whole thing is bizarre and needs some more color? incredibly loose-lipped or sending the opposition binders of info? surprised the other team would accept it.

    It says Clawson didn't pick him up on his staff when he got there so maybe there was some hurt feelings there? People gossip to feel important and people like money. Maybe they just stiffed him in a christmas bonus one year.

    Hopefully in the wake of this controversy, teams will start to respect their play by play guys a little more or else we may have a full mutiny on our hands in cfb, especially with all the pot smoking nowadays, everyone can and could be suspected mole

    As a game goes on teams repeat plays, it's even easier to stop the plays you've already seen AND have pregame reports. Most teams don't have detailed pregame reports on the opponent to fall back on

    Per Mark Schlabach, Louisville AD Tom Jurich stated today that Cardinals' OC Lonnie Galloway received insider information from Tommy Elrod prior to the Wake Forest - Louisville matchup on 12 November 2016. Note that Galloway was an offensive assistant coach w/ Elrod at Wake Forest from 2011-'12. The information Galloway received was then passed on to the Cardinals defensive staff.

    So this went on for years... So basically 20-30 teams got wake's gameplan and none of this got out for years??

    I mean I guess it's wake so no one really pays attention but still, no one said anything anywhere until now? Seems like something that's hard to keep a secret

    That's exactly what I was thinking. Surely, this guy knew this would eventually catch up with him. It's like a pitcher tipping pitches. Word gets around to other teams, and eventually back to the pitcher. I'll be interested to see if any reputable coaches get thrown into this story for taking the info from this guy.

    That's how you neutralize a team in the second half. You don't have to wait for tips and leans because you KNOW what's coming.

    But it still didn't work that well though, that's what's getting me. This was Wake's best season since I can remember.

    So maybe he didn't do it every time? Would this have been a 10 win team if it wasn't happening. Hard to believe since it's Wake, but to go 6-6, when the other team can see your plays is pretty freakin impressive.
