Random olympic sport, you dont know which it is, or who they are against, just that no one from said sport would be eligible. No team sports could be picked, but those players would be eligible as your pick.

Ashton Eaton and it's not even close. He's the best in at least 10 different events. No other Olympic athlete is good at more than like 2 or 3 events. Even Phelps is basically only good at two things, butterfly and freestyle events and he has the most medals ever. Eaton is guaranteed to be good at anything involving running, jumping, throwing or balance related. That's most things in the Olympics besides like swimming or water polo but you said the event would be completely randomly selected, so I'll take my chances.
