lordswing, those numbers are wrong. I calculated HWS and got his official number of PAs and it came out to 54.8% on the year.

Also, Accuscore was projecting 2.2 HWS for 4.4 PA.

I was going to take it but got locked out, thankfully.

Anyway, 0 or 1 hit for my next pick.

I in the past have used sportsline and done BB+K+H/AB+BB, but today I decided to get the real number and got the official PA number from espn.com. So it was really slightly below 55%.

Is HBP included in BB? I would assume so, but when you look at how to calculate OBP there's separate places for both BB and HBP. (for reference, fangraphs has him with 89 BBs, 2 IBBs, 8 HBPs, and 4 SFs)

126+89+8=223
477+89+8+4=578
223/578=38.5 OBP

No, HBP is not included in BB. However, it's such a small amount for most guys it's not a big deal.

lordswing, the easiest way is just go with whatever they are asking (H+BB+SO)/PA insert values and solve. then adjust vs pitcher if you want.

going with nadal 3-0. my first instinct was AOR, but I checked the odds nadal -2.5 sets (.82, 1.02) dec odds, so 3-0 is slightly favored. and since it's opposite of my initial instinct i'm feeling pretty good about it.

I would go with saints but I bet vikes +5 so I don't want to root for the saints.
