The point was that when RW posts their lines, the value from the openers has pretty much already been pounded out of them. If a side opens at -2, the market pounds it into a -5 when RW posts the game, and the line closes at -4.5, how do you squeeze any value out of the line? This business is ALL math. I understand the importance of math in sports wagering. I also understand what you are saying about RW's lines. It sounds like you are admitting that you are NOT that big a favorite given what you have to work with here. Which goes back to my Lakers/Nets fallacy....but I digress.
I still don't understand why you have to insult people in 95% of your posts. I read this post and didn't feel a twinge of annoyance. If you could interact like this without having to throw in that final "idiot" or "moron" in the tag line I wouldn't have a problem with you at all. Hell, we used to get along and gang up on Nicky.

But here's the problem. Let's say you change your method and hit 50%.
Will you be beating your chest on and on about how you won a competition where you hit 50%? Seriously? What will 50% success prove for you?
And I would like to thank Rebate Wager for this challenge. However, I would like them to up the ante here. Let's do 2 things:
1. After Monkey finishes the challenge, they challenge dumbito to hit 54.5% over 200. (109-91) That is more respectable than this joke of a challenge for 50%.
2. After dumbito fails on hitting 54.5% (109-91), you let Nicky do the 54.5% challenge.
Let me say this. I do give Monkey credit for stepping up to the plate. However, can you imagine dumbito (who is clearly a coward) actually stepping up and putting his picks where his mouth is? We all know that won't happen in a million years... and even if he did step, there is no way in hell dumbito will go 109-91.Comment -

i swear this guy is so entertaining.. i am actually starting to feel bad for the kid. he's got Penn ST +1 and it closes at Penn ST +2.. almost everyone of his picks go against him. Even this OHIO ST game closed at 5 at tons of places and once again, he's got a -ev bet with his +4.5.

I think you are 2-4 so far for the day.... w/ about 8 pending. Naturally, things can change. I am hoping that you go 5-3 to close out the day 7-7. Finishing 6-2 would be better... but I am under the impression that that is not likely.
Also, I see that you have continued to follow durito's foolish advice.
As a courtesy I will repeat the advice I offered to you recently. This advice is beneficial to you and will assist you in your endeavor. However, please note that being obstinate like a hard-headed woman is not beneficial in most situations... unless you are an NBA athlete.

Although I am not your greatest fan, I would rather you win this than lose. Here are 2 suggestions that you definitely must consider before moving forward:
1. Do not continue to follow durito's advice.
2. Make sure that when you arrive to 60 total picks that your record is better than 26-34. (If your requirement were to be to hit 101, you would have to go 75-65 [53.57%] to finish things off. That can be easily done, but not w/ the current method you are using.... But I think they are simply requesting you hit 100.)
