Steelers chances are extremely slim, but there are some shots:

1. Ravens & Texans lose, Steelers win and they are in.
2. Jets & Texans lose, Steelers win and they are in.
3. Jets, Ravens & Broncos lose, Steelers win and they are in.

So, the Steelers really need two of three teams to lose. (Jets, Texans, Ravens). Even then, if those two teams happen to be the Jets & Ravens, then the Broncos also need to lose to help the Steelers get in.

Wrong. If the Jets & Ravens lose, but the Texans and Broncos win, the Steelers can't get in. I know it's confusing, but it's an obscure tiebreaker sequence that figures in that situation.

It must have something to do with the fact that the Broncos are the #5 seed at this moment, if the season ended today, but they don't control their own destiny getting into the playoffs. (But the #6 Jets and #7 Ravens do control their own destiny.) Wierd!
