    Turnkey question.
Hello all. This is officially my first post on this forum and I needed some help with an important decision. I'm currently debating whether to invest in a turnkey casino/sportsbook/poker website. There are a few sites that I've seen which offer this service. My question is whether this is a good investment or not? According to what information I've seen at the various sites, it would cost me approximately 1,500.00 to start a website with 40% profits from the gross revenue. Has anyone else researched this? And if so, is this a good investment or is this just another dumb online business idea that doesn't profit? I've always wanted to start my own sportsbook but knew the costs would be immensely high. This seems like a very affordable alternative. Any help would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

first off, welcome to the SBRforum

it would depend on how many players you would have. along with other factors. theres some places out there that will charge you like $30 a player. and, the more players you get, the price gets cheaper. personaly, i wouldn't want to mess with it at all at this time.

thanks bigboydan for the welcome. much appreciated. I've seen a few sites that charge per player but I'm not really interested in those sites. I was more interested in sub-licensing and creating my own personalized sportsbook/casino/poker site. Initially I would expect to spend money on marketing the site and trying to drive traffic to the site. But whether to explore this idea versus spending my money elsewhere is my dilemna at the moment.

Here is a good thread on Turnkey operations.

Sports betting and handicapping forum: discuss picks, odds, and predictions for upcoming games and results on latest bets.

I think it is a too high of risk to start up.

        Welcome to SBR.
