The Jaguars lost their quarterback in the first quarter and if it weren't for that awesome defense, I would have been toast today.

Instead, I am alive and taking a healthy bite of american capitalism

The Jaguars have a very solid defense and should remain in most of their games. They should be ok IMO

DM, i wouldn't say that just yet. check out there remaining schedual this year.

Sun 12/4 at Cleveland 1:00 pm
          Sun 12/11 Indianapolis 1:00 pm
Sun 12/18 San Francisco 1:00 pm
Sat 12/24 at Houston 1:00 pm
          Sun 1/1 Tennessee 4:05 pm
even without leftwich, you have to figure they should win 2-3 games without him. i mean, with a schedual like this. you could put me in at QB and get 2-3 wins.

lets say leftwich is out 5 weeks. that still means he will be ready come playoff time. so, with that being said. i don't think they will fold just yet.

Don't sell Gerrard short. There have been many teams who looked at him as a possible starter for another team. The Jags get it done with defense, ball control, and smashmouth running. They're a carbon copy of teams like the Ravens and Steelers. They may not cover many games in their remaining schedule, but the only game that they'll lose is against Indy and maybe Tennessee. Those other teams could be beaten with Jacksonville's third string QB. Leftwich should be ready by playoff time and this team could make noise as a darkhorse.

Even without Leftwich, the Jags will lose only to Indy in closing out their schedule. They'll be a darkhorse in the playoffs and I expect them to make some noise.
