What would be the point of maybe winning 1 game against a crappy team? Jason Campbell sucks and everybody that knows anything about the NFL knows that. They get nothing from playing him. The playoffs are a pipe dreams for Cleveland. But if they play Hoyer then maybe just maybe they can find an NFL starting QB.

Guy is the opening day starter and has 12 or 13 TD passes? How is that even possible? I believe he almost went an entire season without throwing a TD pass to a WR for the Redskins. He sucks.

The only reason he was drafted in the 1st round is because they had a new coach that wanted a QB to start his era, and he had one of the better backfields in college football history with Cadallac Williams, Ronnie Brown and Brandon Jacobs as the 3rd string.

    Another failed bubba gump QB.

He never had very good receivers, Weeden is the franchise QB and will be back soon Campbell was not the opening day starter. Hoyer is not even close to the player Weeden is. At 0-2 the playoffs are not looking very good but the NLF is not a league where you tank and they do have a decent team though the playoffs a longshot now

Typical nonsense cover for every shitty black QB in the history of the NFL.

Black QB's never suck. They just always have crappy receivers or a crappy offensive line or a crappy defense or crappy coaches or too many coaches. Jason Campbell was 5 years of excuses. You know why? Because he sucks.

Did Tom Brady ever get by with average receivers?
When Peyton Manning went to Denver all they had was this tall white guy and an underperforming big guy.
How great are Drew Brees's receivers?
Michael Vick never had any receivers, then Matt Ryan comes along and waddaya know, Roddy White actually was pretty good!

Cut the crap about that 6'5 Vagina never getting a fair chance. He sucks.

    Santana Moss and Chris Cooley.

But of course you need Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss and Andre Johnson or else Jason Campbell didn't get a fair shake.

Wow. His career ypc of 3.5 is weak, but this still surprises me.

while i agree cambpell sucks, you need to relax with your rant about black qb's.

fact is they've done very well lately and that is because the nfl has become more like the college game with more athletic players on offense in key positions.

in college qbs with a little mobility totally throw defenses out the window. unfortunately there wasn't too much mobility in the nfl until guys like mcnair, mcnabb, cunningham, culpepper, and vick arrived on the scene between 1995 and 2005.

given some time now for them to adjust their games, and the nfl to change its mindset toward creativity on offense, mobile qbs, and particularly black qb's as many of them are mobile, have changed the game and have done very well.

yes there are many failures- campbell, jamarcus, josh freeman, joshua johnson, etc.

but that could be said about white qbs too. there are 1000 of them and 800 fail, just like 8 out of 10 black qbs fail too. the ratio of hitting on getting a talented qb, and particularly an eltite qb is just so rare due to the level of talent in the nfl. but a handful --cam newton, rg3, russell wilson, mike vick, and now ej manuel and tyrell pryor are proving that these guys, like mcnair and mcnabb did in the past, can throw and can be amongst the leagues best.

though now it is a passing league and you need receivers. cam newton clearly has only 1. rg3's are very questionable. ej manuel has 1 in stevie johnson. russell wilson doesnt really have great receivers either.

look what has happened to flacco without his lead receivers. he is nothing. look what happened to eli manning without mario manningham. all he really has is victor cruz and hakeem nicks really isnt that good.

any qb need's receivers ,minus tom brady and drew brees and maybe peyton manning, to excel. mind you even brady is struggling without his receivers and aaron rodgers was lost when his receivers got hurt.

so yeah, it makes a big difference. oh and vick didnt have julio jones. matt ryan realyl didnt do shit and still hasnt done shit considering all the talent he has. if vick had tony gonzalez and julio jones im pretttttty sure it wouldve been a different story in atlanta.

vick is 5000x the qb matt ryan will ever be.

Ryan is easily top 5, Vick is barely top 10 at best right now if he happens to be healthy which is always a big "if".

    Pretty ignorant comment.

Michael Vick is the most overrated QB in NFL history.

The Browns made the right choice in starting Hoyer over Campbell.
