Yes, you can raise it...but if you're HIV pos it's a lot harder as you have a virus in your body attacking those cells. People who are HIV pos can have a T-Cell count that yo-yo's around the line, but once you drop below...you'll forever be diagnosed with AIDS. Even if you get you T-cell back up slightly once in a while. You're body has been weakened and you need your meds.

One more comment on people being "more sick once they start meds"...sometimes that's what it takes to live...feeling like crap. Why do you think so many cancer patients go through chemo and rediation therapy?

Now keep in mind the "VIRUS" was announced in April of 84'.. He could have not slept with anyone else from 1980-1985 and then didn't sleep with more then one random girl every 2-3 weeks...

You have NO idea what I've put into researching this disease and you have NO idea what I go through day to day knowing that someone I love very much is going to die from this. I never said it was a virus. AIDS is a syndrome caused by a virus. HIV is a virus that weakens your immune system....once it is weakened to a certain point, it becomes a syndrome. You still have the virus in you, but the condition it causes is a syndrome. Do you need me to make that more clear?

I will say this: Who makes who an expert? I know alot of college coaches and I know alot of high school coaches. The smartest coaches I've ever known overall have all been high school coaches. I know several guys that can outcoach Bob Stoops and the like. The difference is alot of high school coaches like the stability that comes with the high school game and had no desire to go further. I've met some real dumb ass college guys and people think these guys are smart because they're in the college game. Not all, but some have just ridden someone else's coattails or gotten where they were because of who they knew. It's the same way with experts in these other fields. People have a high position somewhere because they were appointed or have connections and then all of a sudden they are "experts". Be careful of what "experts" say. I would take some stock in what a traveling nurse who deals in real life situations said before some clown that sits behind a desk with a big title.
