It’s an open primary so top 2 no mater what party advance to November. That’s why Adam Schiff is spending more money on Garvey campaign than Garvey himself. So Schiff would have an easier time against him rather than Porter in Nov.

The challenge here is that I really believe California is one of the best places on the planet to live but the politics are skewing so far left that it's hard to keep rationalizing "the sunshine tax". There's sunshine in South Carolina and Florida with less tax.
