I'm not a NYK fan, I got into them back in the day when Ewing, Oak, and Starks were brawling.
Everybody from these parts were into that team.

I feel bad for the cradle to grave NYK fans, NYC is a monster hoops city, and their fans deserved much better than the Dolan crap he put out for the past twenty years.

My favorite team of the 2000's though as much as I too enjoyed those 1990's NYK teams were the '05-'06 NJ Nets.

I was born and raised a Jersey boy, about 20 minutes from the Meadowlands.
(bred in NJ, just a crumb now in Connecticut)

When I was a kid it was all about Marty Brodeur and that one season of J-Kidd, Jason Collins, and Vince Carter, but the Devils and Nets fans all got into those Ewing teams too.
