#11It always amazes me when they kick the ball as hard as they can on short FGs when all is needed is a moderate force kick. There is no reason to blast the ball unless you are doing a 55 yard plus or more FG. And especially on XPs when the other team is not even trying to block it like a FG.Comment -

#14don't know what happened to him as he is 95% kicker from 40 to 55 out this year. he did miss his only extra point last week vs washington.
all I know is he cost me over 4,00.00 as had the over and a lot of parlays with only leg left. should have hedged sever of themComment -

I think it was the third miss, it looked like he tried to take something off of it and shanked it.Comment -

#17Considering Maher went 9 for 11 on field goals over 50 yards this year, Dallas should have taken 4 intentional penalties to make the PAT 50 yards,Comment -

#20Anybody can have a bad day, I guess. When others are off, it's not as obvious. Massive pressure on him next game. If he does again his career may be over. No position is more "what have you done for me lately" than a kicker.Comment -

#21If I was Dallas, I would sign a second kicker and drop a player. If this guy shanks a kick in the first quarter, you can't use him the rest of the game.Comment -

Thing was, he made 4 great kicks in the freezing cold in that Seattle playoff game to put them in position to win it.Comment -

#25Time to start going for the 2 point conversions.
Hard to move forward with him I would think. You can't miss 4 extra point FG's in a single playoff game. That's absurd!
He's got mental problems and the Cowboys are shit canned if they stick with this kicker. That's my take!Comment -

#27ohio state relied on a kicker against georgia. they had the game won. i don't understand why when it gets to the 30 yard line it's time to shut down the offense and depend on a kicker who has the weight of the world on his shoulders. especially in college. but even in pro. shout out to my main man and good pal scott norwood for the most famous kick of all time

#28I think they will keep him. Most likely Dalls will be down early by 2-3 TDs to SF and they will be chasing so no need to kick FGs. His kickoffs were all pretty good as none of them got returned.Comment -

#31Originally posted by pologqi agree. i don't see how you go into the next game with just him as your kicker. and if he doesn't like it, fcuk em. cowboys were lucky the bucs were inept where those points did not matter.Comment -

#32Originally posted by pavyracerI don't think they had time to run their offense in less than a minute to score a TD in Ohio St game. This is why they kicked a FG.
