I saw that Brooklyn game last night, pretty much wire to wire.

a) it seemed James was reenergized now he has AD back.
b) usually, the NBA is a shitshow, last night's game was very enjoyable and there was actual defense played.

LBJ loves to play in NY, and it showed.

Embid had one hot week, all of a sudden he's everybody's sweetheart, he'll cool down if he doesn't breakdown first.

Like I said earler, nobody is shitting on Embid, he's a nice center and all but name one thing Embid does that Jokic can't do, and Embid can't pass, or else he's have 14 triple/doubles or so too.

I don’t believe this at all. I think if you gave GM’s in the nba a choice, they all would take Embiid over Jokic. And Embiid has greatly improved his passing out of the post. Plus he’s a tremendous defender where as Jokic is terrible on that end.

I get it, Maxey's never played PG in his life and all, but look at the NBA finals teams in the past.
The common denominator is almost all of them had outstanding PG's.

It’s true I’m a sixers fan but I can certainly be impartial. I don’t think they are going very far without making a move. Maxey will be a player but they won’t beat Milwaukee as currently constructed. I’m guessing they get Harden next year and hopefully dump that loser Ben as soon as possible. But Embiid is a better piece to build a title than Jokic.

Embiid is now the clear favorite for MVP at 2-1.

He's better than Jokic many ways and it's not close. The biggest different nice between Jokic and Embiid is that Jokic has zero impact on the game defensively and Embiid is a physically dominant player, Jokic is a finesse player.

Embiid dominates games Jokic puts up good stats. Jokic's stats are also inflated because his usage rate is higher than Embiid since Denver has no true point guard even when Murray plays.

It looks like Philadelphia will wait until the season is over and try and make a move for Harden or Lillard. I don't see any big trades with Simmons as likey before the deadline. Simmons still has 4 years on his deal so Philadelphia doesn't lose any leverage by keeping him until the end of the year.
