I think the NFL will ask the refs to keep the game close because is on national TV. Patriots will win but Matt Ryan will throw a garbage time TD to cut the lead to 6 points.

The defense is winning games for them and Mack Jones has to do just enough to win. You have to remember that he has no star receivers on that team. He's truly a Belichick system QB right now. Does he blossom into a star QB?...give him some real weapons and then we will find out.

They said the same exact thing about Tom Brady though. He managed to win without superstar receivers during most of those Super Bowl runs imo and a very stout defense. New England has the defense to win the AFC although I do think we haven't seen the last of the Titans even though Derek Henry sustained a serious injury because they find ways to win and that's what it takes in the playoffs.

They have 4 tough games coming up against the Colts, Tennessee and then 2 HUGE games against Buffalo that will determine the division winner. This will tell us where they really stand. The defense is great and the O-line has been pretty good protecting him. The running game is diversified well with Harris and Stevenson. 2 of their losses were because of a fumble and missed FG. Right now playoff team? yes. Do they make it to the AFC championship?...hmmmmmm no.

Patriots still don't have much on the outside at receiver, they aren't built to play from behind, but they are a solid team, and they have cleaned up straight up and against the spread against mediocre and weak teams.
