MACker please be careful saying "Mich State is loaded" when they were terrible LY and just beat Northwestern who we do not know much about at all right now. Purdue? i will tell you right now that if Adrian Martinez is healthy, Nebraska is more than a TD fave over NWestern and Purdue at home.....maybe even 9.5 pt fave in both games.
Also, be careful calling UNC the second best team in the ACC based on last year's performance. they lost multiple WR targets and the two best RB's from LY so the loss at VA TECH did not surprise me.
maybe the Hokies have some swag back?
the ACC likely sends at least half their conference (7 out of 14) to bowls, and Clemson finishes Top 10 and Miami likely Top 15.

UNC, Va Tech, and several other schools vie for Top 25 spots on the rankings that come out after Thanksgiving.

Michigan State beat NW last year too in a down year. Mel Tucker has revamped this team. Their offense is very experienced, one of the top returning and quality transfers. Tucker got rid of the problem children who didn't buy into the program and brought in a stable of quality transfers at key positions. The defensive line is one of the best in the B10. LB's and CBs are the only issues for this team and they both looked pretty good against NW no less.

I didn't say UNC was the 2nd best team, the prognosticators and the polls said they were the 2nd best. They came into this game as #10. Look at Vatech's schedule. Pathetic. They, just like Clemson, should be able to run the table with that shit schedule. I expect them to be a top10 team in the polls but reality? They are more like top 25. Sending half your conference to bowls is probably poor. Most conferences send 75%. Everybody goes to bowls. Having 3 or 4 teams in the top 25 is not unusual either. The ACC is a fraud. Every time they play someone out of conference, they lose, which is why they don't play out of conference much.

A 15%+ move in aggregate win pct for these 4 schools in a 12 game reg season sched is 2 games improvement percentage wise across the board which puts at least 3 of them in bowls.

Michigan is going well, but has really played no competition and will not play anyone until they go to Wisconsin. They have a shot at a 3 loss season, which is good for Michigan.

So you have two teams guaranteed NOT to finish above .500. Florida State and Nebraska. So much for your 3-1 scenario. The best you can do is 2-2. Your Auburn pick is a bunch of Bull S**t. Not counting last season (Covid), they have won 8 or more games 7 years in a row. That means that no matter what you say, Auburn has to win at least 8 games just to stay even with their previous records.

Auburn won't improve much from last year with Bo Nix still quarterbacking like he is in high school. He wasn't even their best offensive player last year. The RB Tank should be getting 25 touches this year, if he doesn't and Bo is throwing 25-30 times then Auburn has a losing conference record. 8 wins max for Auburn after firing the coach for winning 6 of 10 last year.

Either Auburn is worse than they were last year or Harsin is a terrible coach. They were definitely outclassed at home by Georgia today. I don’t see how Bo Nix gets any better this year to help the team win.
