Askren is playing it smart, staying cool. Trying to get Jake emotionally involved to exhaust himself.

I wonder if that intelligence and fight IQ will translate to the actual fight.

Askren could use the same tactics Conor used in round 2 versus Khabib. Where he tried to get Khabib to fight angry to get him to overcommit to strikes and tire himself out.

That's the gameplan. Does Jake Paul have the mental stability and maturity to deal with it. Is What makes this a great match up.

Anybody else bet on Steve Cunningham to beat Frank Mir?

A former champion who is still in great shape against a 41 year old who has never boxed professionally. I put some betpoints on it yesterday at -1500, a number which is still around at a few offshore books.

At that price Cunningham needs to win 93.75% of the time, so the value isn't massive, but it seems real. I think Cunningham is more like 99% to win. Any thoughts?

He told us a lot more than that. Mostly that he doesn't care what happens and that he's taking a payday to mess around like when he was ounger.

Not taking Askren here, the crossover promotion completely dies without Jake Paul.

Knockout or decision, they are both on the table.
